Loved it !
We had an incredible stay. It was very relaxing. The staff is exceptional. The villa itself is very charming. It’s about 45 minutes from the city we had a car and would spend the day in the city and come back in the afternoon for a peaceful break.
all great. people, staff, venue. Only comment, in the main room of the 3-room family suite located at the North east extreme of the main house, internet signal was really bad. probably the only spot in the hotel with bad internet. but somewhat annoying nevertheless. All the rest was simply great. just fix that and.
Gorgeous, peaceful property and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our quiet time here at the end of a whirlwind trip.
The perfect getaway!
Do yourself a favor and book a day when they are serving their asado. It's one of the best that I've enjoyed in BSAS. Pools and Horseback riding were my daughters' favorite activities.
Great place to spend a few days. Food and villa are both very nice. It is a old villa so don't expect the four seasons.
Great place! Enjoyed it immensely!
We had an amazing stay at this wonderful property! It's conveniently located not too far from Buenos Aires yet feels like a peaceful retreat which brings you back to a warmer / more Latin version of Normandy. The staff were lovely, and both the main villa and its extension are full of charm. The property is well-maintained, and the all-inclusive meals make it excellent value for money. I highly recommend booking more than one night to truly enjoy the experience.
Must stay at least 2 nights. Best to stay at the end of the trip. Very relaxing. Peace and quiet. Worth the trip and stay. Would recommend.
Very quiet and relaxing. Food was great!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Estancia Villa Maria! The place feels like a magical wonderland, with stunning surroundings and a serene atmosphere. We were lucky to have a private pool all to ourselves that day, which made the experience even more special. The food was delicious, and the highlight of our visit was the amazing horse riding experience they offer. The staff were warm and welcoming, making our stay truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for a dreamy and relaxing getaway!
Beautiful hotel in stunning grounds.Peaceful and relaxing. Wish we had stayed longer!
Paola gave exceptional service when our plane arrived 3 hrs late from Miami. She waited for us till 12:11 for us to check in AND had fruit and the most delicious empanadas I’ve ever had. After a long 12 flight she made it feel like Home. She’s wonderful!
Amazing property with fabulous building and grounds and scenery, food was fantastic and the staff were everywhere helpful and friendly. It cannot be praised enough for a wonderful experience and reasonably priced.
Such a beautiful place—I would recommend it without hesitation to anyone. From the moment you enter the Estancia and are greeted by the welcoming staff, everything feels marvelous. The architecture transports you back to the 1930s, but with a modern twist.
You can spend your day in various ways. Inside, you can visit the game room to play billiards, ping pong, cards, or other games. Outside, you can enjoy nature and partake in the hotel's free activities or purchase premium experiences such as a polo match. In the summer, the hotel even offers a pool.
All meals are included and served in a three-course format. Breakfast is served at your table, not as a buffet, with the option to request different plates from the kitchen. Lunch features an authentic Argentine asado, and we also enjoyed the "Hora del Té," or Tea Time. These three meals are served in a beautiful environment with great views of the fields, while dinner is served in the main saloon, complete with a fireplace.
The bedroom is spacious and elegant. The attention to detail is extraordinary; they even decorated the bed with rose petals and provided us with champagne.
We had a lovely stay. Beautiful surroundings and an authentic estancia experience. Peaceful and quiet with a limited number of guests. The food was excellent, we played tennis and tested the pool. Also appreciated the opportunity to go horse riding and the saxophone music in the evening. Very service minded and friendly staff. Highly recommended. The hotel helped coordinate transport from Buenos Aires, so everything was very convenient. Definitely a highlight from our trip to Buenos Aires.
Formerly staff with an overall unique experience.
English Country House experience in Argentina. Enjoyable. Golf is a stretch ( where was it?)but the Estancia team work hard to give a pleasurable experience. Food is one choice per course. Its a nice choice just to be different . I do think elderly or infirm would find this small property a struggle. Nonetheless BRAVO. Good Value
This is a beautiful property located in a rural area outside Buenos Aires. The hotel is the former home of the estancia owner and is an extravagant mansion in the Tudor style. The grounds are lovely, with many areas available to sit and enjoy the surroundings, including a nice pool. The room came with full board. The breakfast buffet was extensive with eggs cooked to order. Lunch was asado, freshly barbecued meats, chicken and sausage served on a sizzling platter. Dinner was a choice of salmon or chicken. Everything was delicious and the service was more than excellent. We felt spoiled and very well taken care of. Staying at Estancia Villa Maria was one of the highlights of our trip to Argentina. It was a very special experience.
