Loved our two night stay at The Talbot, clean , comfortable, great staff and excellent food
Pros:

Clean. Spacious. Free parking right outside. Located in the centre of town. Large well decorated restaurant and bar. Lots of staff who are unfailingly polite and efficient. The food was superb, not one bad meal.

The staff were helpful, but overall the stay was disappointing.
Pros:

The staff were helpful providing a hotspot for as the hotel wifi was not working.

Cons:

My search criteria were free private parking and breakfast, neither of which were included in this hotel. The parking was street parking, and breakfast was extra. Also the wifi was not working which caused problems as I needed to access email, and as a result the TV would not connect to a service provider.

A real gem, with a wonderful team of staff and cosy bedrooms in a great location

What a pleasant surprise it was, such a lovely hotel with excellent staff and a very comfortable bed with fabulous quality pillows and duvet. I highly recommend a stay at this very central hotel with a delicious breakfast and wonderful staff.
