Only restaurant for miles around. They work to keep up a good reputation for service & cleanliness
Pros:

No breakfast. But they did have a restaurant that served meals in the evening. It was handy. Considering the size of the town, it was a great benefit.

The owners and staff were excellent. They covered everything - from the desk, to housekeeping, to serving in the restaurant and bar.

Cons:

I was grateful for the air conditioning, but it was a bit loud.

Disappointing.
Pros:

Though they advertised breakfast there was none. That was disappointing as I checked several times between 7 and 8:30 and there were no staff available----finally spoke with one who said they didn't provide breakfast.

Cons:

No breakfast was disappointing after it was advertised that they provided that. It was a town with no other place to get breakfast. The other thing that was very disappointing was that the backdoor was left unlocked all day and night. No security---they locked the front door at 10 but never locked the back door. I waited at least 10 minutes for someone to speak to me on check-in and then only to tell me he was busy with something else. Another person came and went from behind the check-in counter but evidently wasn't able to help. Then in the morning there was no one at the desk and I only "accidently" found a staff who stepped outdoors to ask about the breakfast----and was told then that there was no breakfast. This motel was not inexpensive---and with poor wi-fi and no breakfast and lack of available staff it was very overpriced.

Pros:

We came into town late well past the normal check in time. The staff was kind and caring to our needs to check in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Just what one needs to sleep and get going again in the morning.

As it was really the only motel in 1000 miles, it was luckily located somewhat near where we needed to go. The owners were helpful and the room was clean.

Cons:

The beds were rock hard and somehow still sagging and broken down. Super uncomfortable beds.
