Spotlessly clean and comfortable hotel.
Pros:

Beautifully clean, friendly and homely family run hotel. Continental breakfast was excellent quality with everything you could want. Great value for money. Idyllic alpine village setting.

Cons:

Bit of a hike uphill in ski boots to the ski-lift. Found that we could use the elevator in the multi-story car park to ascend 6 floors which helped massively.

Etwas altmodisches Hotel in noch guter Lage zum Skilift
Pros:

Gute Lage zum Skilift. Dabei handelt es sich allerdings der mittlere Skilift im Skigebiet von Châtel - bis zum "Hauptskigebiet" Richtung Avoriaz sind mehr als 5 Lifte zu nehmen.

Frühstück gut (15 Euro p.P.).

Personal freundlich - spricht allerdings schlecht Englisch.

Dusche und Toilette separat und renoviert.

Speisesaal - und eigentlich auch der Rest der Räume - etwas altmodisch aber urig eingerichtet.

Cons:

WLAN miserabel - quasi keine Internet-Connectivity. Umschalten auf Mobilfunk hilft aber auch nicht! Im ganzen Ort ist die Verbindung bzw. die Datenrate extrem schwach (trotz Anzeige von 5G mit drei bis vier Balken). Webseiten mit Text und Messenger funktionieren manchmal. Filme runterladen oder streamen kann man vergessen.

Zimmer winzig und bestenfalls altmodisch. Keine Steckdosen am Bett.

Toilette winzig!

Lüftung in Toilette und Bad beide nicht funktionsfähig.

Luft im Zimmer oft "schlecht" - Lüften über Bakkontür, die nicht richtig weit zu öffnen war, ohne die Betten zu verschieben und den Rest des Raumes noch weiter zu verkleinern...

Skikeller ohne Schuhtrockner.

Alles in allem zu teuer - das lag vielleicht auch an den franz. Winterferien. Auch die Überlastung des Mobilfunknetzes mag damit zusammenhängen.

Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer und waren während der franz. Winterferien dort - die sich leider über drei Wochen im Februar strecken. Sollte man bedenken!

Pros:

Rustige omgeving op wandelafstand van lift, bus en mooie dorp

Cons:

het personeel (en bovendien eigenaars) was vriendelijk maar zeiden opvallend weinig bij de bediening of afruimen van de tafel.
Ook het wifi netwerk vond ik behoorlijk zwak

There are better places.
Pros:

Our room was comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel is a little dated, wifi was impossible and the location requires a walk uphill to get to the Chatel centre and the ski bus. Also, there is little "service" and the "reception" was rarely attended so very difficult to get advice or assistance. There is a restaurant but we were very disappointed that it was only open to half-board guests, an option that we were not given.

Very nice place to stay while in Chatel
Pros:

Location is good. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is kind. Breakfast is good.

Cons:

No coffee machine or water heater in the room. We didn’t like staff getting into the room while we are in the room.

Heerlijke tijd gehad.
Pros:

Prima ontbijt en diner. Echt familiehotel.

Cons:

Je kunt een luxer hotel kiezen, maar dat is niet nodig. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteitverhouding.
