Wish we stayed longer!
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing. The staff were incredibly detail oriented. They provided a lot of accommodations to ensure we were taken care of, such as additional hangers in the wardrobe upon request, breakfast item requests, pillow selection, and friendliness. The hotel gave great recommendations for the area and got us an ideal reservation for Saturday night dinner with little notice.

The pool is amazing and the hotel is small enough that the common areas do not feel overcrowded. A+ for also serving Aperitivo wine at the pool in the proper glassware instead of plastic.

The hotel provides beach equipment, which comes highly appreciative.

We personally enjoyed the waffle-knit linens, and the bathrobes. They were plentiful, clean, and perfect after a long beach day. The toiletries were Ortigia branded.

Cons:

It was not advertised or expected, but would consider to come back here for a longer stay if there was a gym/fitness room. The AC did not have a silent-mode, which may also be important for sensitive sleepers.

Pros:

Battimandorlo was an absolute oasis. Noto’s countryside is beautiful, but this place still managed to exceed our expectations. From the moment we arrived it felt like we’d stepped away from the world.

The staff were amazing. Genuinely warm, attentive but never hovering, and full of good local tips (we ended up trying a few wineries just from their recommendations). Breakfast was a solid 10/10 every single morning, and the pool was so relaxing, exactly what you want after a day out exploring the region.

For what you get, it’s excellent value too. We’re already talking about when we’ll go back. We will definitely be returning.
