It was beautifully located next to the lake and had indoor outdoor seating and fire pits
During the week the carousel bar didn’t open until 4pm
beautiful setting
Great location the facilities were excellent and the staff was great. Have traveled for years this facility was close to best we have every been too
We love coming here! Hotel, grounds and staff are absolutely WONDERFUL.
Our stay was extremely disappointing from the moment we checked into our room. It was obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned. The duvet cover had visible stains, the floor was dirty with food debris and hair, and there was toothpaste residue left in the bathroom sink.
We brought these concerns to the manager's attention and politely requested that he inspect the room. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the issue professionally, he was dismissive and rude, making us feel as though our concerns were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate problem.
To make matters worse, most of the staff we encountered were unfriendly and unwelcoming. The only bright spot during our stay was the bartender, who was pleasant, attentive, and provided excellent service.
Cleanliness and customer service are the basics of hospitality, and this hotel fell well short in both areas. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here.
It is beautifully situated on Chautauqua Lake. It is a beautiful place for a relaxing getaway.
Very clean; great staff and customer service. Spacious rooms on beautiful lakefront property
With all the hotel guests could use more chairs around pool
Great hotel. Great location. Food service/restaurant leaves something to be desired. Limited hours. Restaurant menu is limited. Calamari tasted a little 'off'. Didn't eat it. One pork chop burned to a black frazzle. Should never have been presented to a customer; the second one brought was okay. Drinks and wines were fine. Service was friendly. I CAN put in a good word for the pizzas served at the outdoor bar. They are surprisingly good.
My wife and I were travelling around the east coast to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel is well located, the views are stunning and it offers a very relaxed atmosphere. the indoor and outdoor pools are very nice.
Having travelled extensively in and outside the US, id say this is a 3 star with many areas for improvement. Lack of cleanliness is a major issue, our room had pubic hair still left in the toilet and when we requested a change, they gave an exact same room elsewhere that had never been cleaned under the beds. We pointed this out to the front desk but the cleaning person never addressed the issue. I wanted to use the swimming pool after going to the gym but the hotel doesnt have pool showers, so unless i go back to my room to shower, it wont be very clean. Finally, the restaurant hours are limited -which is strange for a hotel that announces resort like service- and we could not have our lunch served 5 minutes past the closing 2pm hour, so we had to drive elsewhere for lunch.
Who is building these hotels and why are they able to build them out of Kleenex? Quite possibly the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life.
Had a private dinner function here last night. Food was very good. Staff that waited on us/helped us were top-notch. Had breakfast in the restaurant the next day. It was fine. The menu specifically said House made hash but everything, including the hash, was obviously straight off the Sysco truck. A huge deal? No. But attention to detail is what separates good from great.
And even if it was Housemade, I’d rather have prepackaged and be able to get a good nights sleep. Really, just staggering how thin the walls, floors, and ceilings are for a supposed “resort” of this type.
Beautiful hotel, very quiet and clean. Had the best view of the lake!
Very nice hotel, stayed on 3rd floor. Between the floors there is to mush noise at night time. People above us checked in late, 11:30 pm and still could hear them at 1:30 am. Had to be up at 5am. 😞
Beautiful facility and where it was located on the lake.
Some areas of room were dusty. Lamp shade was very dusty.
Breakfast was sub-par. Waffle was tasteless. Syrup helped drowned out lack of flavor. Omelet was ok but the sauteed onions dominated the flavor. Over-bearing.
Property and Hotel was beautiful!
Nice hotel, location and staff.
Not many things to do besides the hotel.
