BEST HOTEL EVER!!!
Pros:

I have never written a review before, but had to for this hotel. I took my daughter and 89 yr old mother just for a little getaway and didn't want to leave. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and immaculate!!! Guest room was spotless, front desk very efficient and friendly!! There was not one thing I would change about this resort. We all want to come back again in the summer with more family members, can't wait. Also every single staff member we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at and have been to many!!!!

Great hotel and location
Pros:

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are great the beds are very comfortable! We had a balcony beiw of the lake and it was so beautiful. The hotel restaurant has great food all day. They have a great outdoor area including a little putting green. Our 3 year old lived the hotel pool and hot tub. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Will definitely try and stay here again in the future

Nice Room, Confusing Policies
Pros:

We live 20 minutes away and consider ourselves locals....This is a nice facility. We booked this the same day we arrived, we had a plumbing issue at home that couldn't be fixed until the following day so we decided to use this hotel so we could take a hot shower. Upon arrival the front desk clerk(s) were stiff and robot like, not very friendly, husband told them he booked the Midwinter Break Package which included a free breakfast & Welcome Bag....was told because we booked the same day we could not get the package! We walked away a bit stymied as to why that was a policy?!? What is the point of that?? Anyway when we got to our room it was very nice and clean, we booked a lake view, the village view isn't that great as we knew already. A couple things we noticed was that the shower head was up very high, I'm 5'2" and there was no way I could even attempt to adjust it! They do have room service but I did miss that there was no way for us to make our own coffee as sometimes we enjoy having some in the evening. When checking out the following morning the desk clerk was very friendly and then we got our breakfast at Starbucks a mile away.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, cozy, great food

Cons:

The power went out the morning I was supposed to check out. I had to check out by 11. Ate breakfast in the dark. Had to shower in the dark, could not blow dry my hair, power didnt come back on until i was ready to check out at 10am. The desk had lanterns we “could come to desk to pick up” but that would have required me wandering down to the front desk in pitch black. Did not offer to drop off at my room. Disappointed I wasn’t offered anything for the inconvenience.

Excellent stay at the lake.
Pros:

Excellent staff, service and cleanliness. Houskeeping top notch. Evening turn down, room service breakfast that is hard to find in just about any hotel in WNY.

Overall a good stay, service in the restaurant was slow and seemed to be understaffed.
Pros:

Comfortable atmosphere for breakfast and dinner.
Outdoor seating was lovely for dinner.

Cons:

Food was lukewarm at best. Oatmeal was a large portion but very gummy.
Dinner was the same -cold meals at high prices.
Restaurant does NOT offer any Vegan, gluten free or alternative milk options. Today that should be a standard offering in hotels.

Fabulous
Pros:

It was clean not too crowded and great staff. Our waiter was Jack a nice young man . He was so personable and was a great guy . Knew how to take us and was able to laugh w us . Jack or “Lundy” was the best .

Pros:

The Harbor Hotel on Lake Chautauqua was absolutely beautiful. The grounds and outside activities was festive and very pleasant with outdoor seating, beautiful gardens, lakeside walkway, ..... a band that played in front of the lake.

Cons:

Upon entering our room, it just didn't seem to live up to the beauty of the rest of the hotel. Seemed kinda plain, minimum decorations, lack of a coffee pot. Was not able to reach the shower head. We did enjoy the patio off our room facing the lake
