Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.
The hotel is kosher, under the supervision of the Shoham Rabbinate.
Parking at the hotel is provided in an underground, automated, and covered facility. It is available to guests with valet assistance during designated hours, at an additional cost and upon availability. In the event of a technical malfunction, access to vehicles may be delayed until the issue has been resolved. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
Bridal/groom preparations, and any wedding-related arrangements, including but not limited to external vendors and photography, are not permitted without prior booking of a designated preparation package and the corresponding room type.

We had a wonderful stay at The Jaffa Hotel. Everything was exceptionalโthe hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a truly relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of high-quality options.
A special thank you to Ofer, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He kept his promise and made sure everything was taken care of, which we truly appreciated. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to guests made a real difference.

The only downside of our stay was the pool. It was quite small and unfortunately wasnโt as clean as we had expected. Aside from that, everything else was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
Some elements were fantastic, before we arrived the guest services coordinator called us to introduce herself which was very nice. We also received a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival to greet us as we came for our wedding weekend. When we could hear the room next door with unbearable clarity on the night before the wedding we were promptly moved to another room. While we did forfeit our balcony and sea view, we had a room nearly two times the size and staff came up immediately to move us. The young valets and bellboys are also incredibly kind and made our first step into the hotel really positive, as well as some of the older staff we met during checkout. The overall space is beautiful, and the breakfast is tasty. The beds were comfortable and the location was great for us. The manager who checked us out waived our parking fee since we were unable to find a spot at the hotel on the first day and had to use a public parking lot farther away.
The hotel seems overloaded - we called the reception many times with no answer and no return call. We needed to go down to reception to ask for menus or ask questions about our stay. We wanted to book at the Spa as well and had the same issue. We also were not given a tour or any explanation of the premises as other guests are. Some of the younger staff that we met at reception was not as friendly as the older more experienced employees who provided us world class service. As kind as the guest services coordinator was, we were never able to reach her after she called us to introduce herself so her offer of assistance wasn't impactful. There is no food outside of breakfast and a Friday night dinner which costs 400 shekels a person, except a hamburger, some salads and french fries, which meant we couldn't order room service and relax as we would have liked. The parking costs 100 shekels a day, and runs out. The hotel is known to be a hotel for brides and grooms - but when my husband went with two friends to the pool hoping to relax for an hour before our wedding they were turned away because you are not allowed to bring more than one guest, we do understand the policy but we would have hoped that for a special occasion they would allow it. Some of the design elements weren't very thoughtfully planned out - for example, outlets are far from the bed and the USB port near the bed are not USB-C which is the current standard for many phones, in addition, some of the seating is uncomfortable, small, and doesn't lend to comfort or luxury feelings. In the executive room, the room felt quite empty, with an extra large walk in closet and quite a lot of unused space from the bed to the window with just an ottoman and a small loveseat that looked like it belonged in an office building's entry.

The atmosphere is heart really feels like youโre overseas and not Israel
It seems they are under staffed and not working in unity
I expected more fluent service for such a high price per nightโฆwe really enjoyed it but certain things need major improvement either in management or in the staff itself
