Important information:

Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.

The hotel is kosher, under the supervision of the Shoham Rabbinate.

Parking at the hotel is provided in an underground, automated, and covered facility. It is available to guests with valet assistance during designated hours, at an additional cost and upon availability. In the event of a technical malfunction, access to vehicles may be delayed until the issue has been resolved. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Bridal/groom preparations, and any wedding-related arrangements, including but not limited to external vendors and photography, are not permitted without prior booking of a designated preparation package and the corresponding room type.

A beautiful hotel in an interesting and historic building. Just sad that the pool area closed at 6pm
Pros:

Beautiful building, bedroom and pool area, most of the staff were amazing and made us feel special and welcome. Overall a great experience.

Cons:

Thrown out of the pool area aggressively at 6pm sharp, we were relaxing and there was no where to go. The hotel loses the sun around 5.30pm. This seemed unnecessary. A member of pool food/drink staff unhelpful but the food and beverage manager was wonderful and made up for the 2 bad experiences magnificently. No evening meals in the hotel which we would have enjoyed but we subsequently learnt that the chef had left as the hotel has been closed due to the war. New staff apparently joining soon

Very disappointing
Pros:

Beautiful hotel and room. Front desk people friendly and competent.

Cons:

The staff is under qualified, waiters struggling to serve water and hold a plater at breakfast. The swimming pool was full and dirty (take away food on the floor, empty cups laying around, dirty towels on empty deck chairs, ice buckets with melted ice and empty bottles next to people not replaced) few staff members turning around clueless. We came the night of our wedding (we updated the hotel), the hotel told us they will do something for us and we were given 3 dry mini cakes, 30 minutes after we arrived - nothing in the room. We came for a special experience, on a special day looking for luxurious service and we found ourselves in a hotel that was just another typical israeli "luxurious" hotel - expensive, with people behaving like they own the place and staff that is clueless. Not worth the price. Breakfast was fine for a kosher place on shabbat but not worth the price. Wouldn't recommend to come on a weekend.

המבנה מאד מיוחד. נענו לבקשות המיוחדות שלנו וגם קבלנו חדר עם מרפסת לים כמו שבקשנו. ארוחת בוקר ענקית. הצוות נחמד. הקרבה ליפו העתיקה ולנמל.

Cons:

קודם כל המחיר. הגענו בשישי. האוירה דתית. מחכים הרבה זמן למעליות בגלל המעליות שבת. הקפה בבוקר הוא פילטר נוראי. הבריכה קטנה ועמוסה ובלי אוירה. המקום עם הרבה פוטנציאל אך מרגיש כמו מלון רשת. החדר לא מאד גדול, נוף מהמם, מרפסת עם המון שמש בלי צל. בלי אינטימיות. ובעיקר- המחיר לא פרופרציונלי!

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back again.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at The Jaffa Hotel. Everything was exceptional—the hotel was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a truly relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of high-quality options.

A special thank you to Ofer, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He kept his promise and made sure everything was taken care of, which we truly appreciated. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication to guests made a real difference.

Highly recommended, and we would be happy to return!

Cons:

The only downside of our stay was the pool. It was quite small and unfortunately wasn’t as clean as we had expected. Aside from that, everything else was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
