Pros:

I really enjoyed the pool and there are a lot of birds on the property, giving it a little bit of a natural feel. The only drawbacks were the price (relative to other local spaces), outdoors lighting, we had to directly contact the host to change reservation details, and could only pay in cash in person. For a similar price there are more updated spaces in the area that are larger. Our room was small, dated, and exterior light shines into the room at night even with curtains fully closed. Paying cash in person is not a problem there are ATMs close by but I would’ve preferred to pay online. I also would have preferred being able to adjust my reservation online. Other than those things it is a beautiful property in the early morning with the birds and I enjoyed swimming the the pool at night.

Pros:

I needed a safe space in Central Cab for a couple of nights over New Years eve before heading to my permanent home, worked out perfectly. I loved the quiet back patio, clean bright location, with a pool. French speaking I asked to come back again!!

Affordable, but you get what you pay for. Not bad, just don't expect much. A/C barely worked, no hand towels, small room-of course that was in the room description so no big problem. Shower head barely hanging on. Was a little primative for me, but if I'm low on money I'd stay. Otherwise not my 1-4 choice in the future.

I stayed at Albatros for one month and enjoyed my time here immensely. The manager, Pierre, and the housekeeping and maintenance staff all were very attentive and provided excellent service. My room was spacious and confortable, with good AC and wifi. The location is perfect for enjoying all that Cabarete has to offer, just a short walk away. I would definitely stay at Albatros again.

Prima impressione: bello. Entri in un parco tropicale dove al centro c’è la piscina e i due edifici in stile coloniale. Camera e bagni non rinnovati ma molto decorosi, camera tripla ampia, doccia con getto soddisfacente. Aria condizionata e inoltre ventilatore con ampie pale al soffitto. Trovi anche wi-fi, una macchina caffè all’americana, microonde e un frigorifero. Situato proprio al centro di Cabarete e a pochi passi dalla spiaggia che raggiungi attraversando la strada. Sulla spiaggia ci sono i miglior locali e ristoranti. Check out alle 12:00.
Questi sono i pro, ora i contro:
la pulizia della stanza viene fatta ogni due giorni, quindi se stai due notti come noi, non viene proprio pulita. Abbiamo però avuto senza problemi gli asciugamani puliti richiesti.
Non si può pagare con carta ma solo in contanti (in efectivo, come si dice qui).
La stanza e il bagno, nonostante le zanzariere alle finestre, tranne che all’ingresso, sono piene di zanzare. Si consiglia munirsi di emanatori anti zanzare.
Concludendo, lo consiglio se si vuole risparmiare, perché se si desidera stare al centro, se si è sprovvisti di macchina, non si trovano hotel così economici e al tempo stesso decorosi.
