Pros:

My favourite place to stay ever! Great accomodation, the pub attached was amazing. Fantastic meals and atmosphere! Wish I could have stayed longer!

Pros:

Great location, comfortable beds and great food at the pub.

Cons:

Got woken up 1.5 hrs before check out by the staff, reminding us. Was quite abrupt especially after a long night. Some of the glasses in the fridge said they were clean but were visibly dirty too.

Pros:

Cheap room with comfy double bed. Shared amenities were good as well. Pub food was really tasty.

Cons:

I did get the cheapest room I could in St George which was above the beer garden of the pub so it got pretty loud at night but can't complain too much for the price.

Easy to find, no-frills, comfortable, well priced,great original pub experience - felt the history
Pros:

Ambience of an old Outback pub. The Australian Hotel is in original condition - most of the fittings in the hotel itself are original.
Clearly a place for tourists and locals - the bottle shop had a traffic jam from 4.30 - 5.00pm

Cons:

Original also means well worn - the verandahs tended to less cared for than the internal areas.
