Hotel great back office staff poor.
Pros:

Modern hotel managed by the Melia group. Great location. Majority of staff were great.

Cons:

Bad experience with their flagship restaurant. Staff lied when confronted. My wife ordered the salmon clay pot dish.. it came with pork/bacon on the top. When I questioned the server, her response was that it said so on the menu. I had to pull up the menu on my phone to ask her where
this mentioned. No apology from her, the chef or the manager.
Bad experience with the laundry. I asked for my wife’s linen trousers to be washed and ironed. They came back and unironed. Next time they came back ironed with a crease down the seams, when we had requested a crease down the front.
Housekeeping tried to gain access to the room when we had the DND sign on. Luckily I had the latch on so they did not actually get in.
