Don’t book this hotel!!!
Pros:

My husband is recovering from cancer surgery and we had booked this hotel for a special few days we had been so looking forward to seeing Sicily and paid in full.

Devastatingly five days before we were due to arrive at the hotel I suffered a back injury I got straight in touch with the hotel sadly wasting a day emailing with a member of staff who eventually after at least 10 emails told me to email Monica I asked if they could possibility change our reservation by a couple of days that would mean I had a week to recover I checked and the hotel had availability on their website and booking.com but sadly I received an email so rude from Monica that I cried I couldn’t believe that someone showed no compassion, understanding or kindness it was even mentioned that it was Financially based and it was my fault and even incredibly that she had tried to help this is not true!!!

I have been travelling for 40 years and have never experienced such lack of empathy! Monica won! the hotel has our money 1000€ plus we lost our flights and other accommodation because of a the appalling decision of this person, in total we lost 2500€ and can’t afford another trip this year!

I just want to add that kindness and understanding is part of what makes a hotel a good place where you make happy memories! This hotel isn’t for that! Please don’t make the same mistake because they will not help you!!!

- Nahe am Meer, tolle Aussicht von der Dachterasse
- Warmer Whirlpool auf der Dachterasse
- Pool war schön, Anlage gepflegt
- Kostenloser Parkplatz vorhanden
- Sehr bequeme Betten

Cons:

- Zimmer gegen die Strasse, war ringhörig
- Frühstück am 1. Tag etwas lieblos zubereitet und kalt, offenbar war der Koch am Sonntag nicht da.

Great $$ for a beautiful personalized boutique experience
Pros:

The hotel felt like a home with a warm welcome. The corner room was spacious, bright and had a modern design. The spa had amazing rooftop views. The grounds were secure and well maintained. The pool was beautiful and the breakfast was simple but outstanding. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Walkable to local beach and restaurants. Not your average place to stay.

Fitted out to a high standard. Friendly staff

Cons:

Not the hotel’s fault but it’s a slow drive to the highway so it’s not as close to the airport as I imagined. More like a 25 minute drive

Lovely hotel shame about Mondello
Pros:

We cannot fault the hotel, it is beautiful we were in room 2 and loved the facilities of the hotel the pool is lovely and the rooftop hot tub a bonus. Mondello however is definitely NOT our favourite place in Sicily. It was busy and to be honest felt unsafe at times.

Car parking is great also and the staff at the hotel are wonderful.
