Always a great stay!
Pros:

Love the location and the cleanliness of this hotel!

Cons:

We booked specifically wanting a bar that was advertised but then it wasn’t open at all the whole night. That was frustrating as we were traveling with another couple and were anticipating to utilize the bar.

Lovely stay and I would stay again!

Love the location to all the restaurants and the rooms are very clean.

For such a nice hotel it was disappointing that the pool wasn’t heated.

Perfect Overnight Stop

Perfect overnight stop

I travel extensively in the USA, often driving on Road Trips, where I keep off the big roads and enjoy the quieter, more tranquil area whenever i can.
After a day touring The Gettysburg Battlefield, Chambersburg was an ideal stop. The SpringHill Suites were east to find in the newer commercial development a little out of town with all the stores, restaurants and newer hotels clustered together.
I like the space you get in SpringHill Suites. Everything seems to work, from a spacious, separate desk and lounge area, to a bathroom with all required facilities. This SpringHill was newer and fresh with all i could require to hit the road the next morning.
SpringHill Suites, like most hotel chain brands, are all pretty homogenous, so there will be no surprises. The only variable tends to be the age of the property, but all the major groups maintain their stock well.
Breakfast was fine and if you want some space, quiet, and clean and functional accommodation look no further

Pros:

Our room wasn't refreshed and when I called the front desk, I was told, "oh they do that every other day, you should have been told at check-in", but of course I wasn't told that at check-in. Also, I understand the idea of continental breakfast, but that was the most bare-bones breakfast offering I have ever seen.
