Miss Istanbul Hotel & Spa

we stayed at this hotel for 7 days. from syart to finish it was most wonderful experience. we were greeted with warm welcome. the room was spacious and very clean. we used the spa every day and it was all free. breakfast was lovely lots of choice . staff were very helpful and did alot to make our stay comfortable. even we had a cake and ballons and flowers to celebrate my birthday. i would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing stay after the busy outdoors.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Our group of five male adults booked two rooms at Miss Istanbul Hotel, and unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had — anywhere in the world.

Before arrival, we made clear requests:
• Two interconnected rooms
• All single beds (as we are all adults)
• Smoking rooms
• A small birthday acknowledgment for one of our friends turning 39

Shockingly, none of these requests were met.

Upon check-in, we discovered one room had a double bed and a single bed, not all singles. When we politely asked the manager, Mr. Sinan, if the rooms could be adjusted, his behaviour was completely unacceptable. He shouted at us in the lobby, saying we’d have to pay €30 extra per night just to have separate beds.

I have travelled to many destinations worldwide, and I have never encountered a manager so rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. His body language was aggressive, his tone was condescending, and he had no intention of helping or resolving the issue. It felt as though we were being treated as a nuisance rather than paying guests.

To make things worse, his English communication was extremely poor, making it impossible to discuss our concerns properly. Even when we asked for something as simple as extra duvets, we were told, “housekeeping is closed.” This is not the level of service you’d expect from a hotel rated over 9/10.

There was no effort from the staff to make our stay comfortable — no follow-up, no assistance, and no gesture for the birthday we had mentioned in advance. The customer service was zero.

The rooms themselves were small, cramped, and poorly maintained. The bathroom was dirty, and there was hardly any space for luggage or clothing. We were given only two towels for three adults, and when we asked for another, the request was ignored.

As for the breakfast, it was simply terrible — far below even basic standards. The quality and variety were extremely poor. I would rate it 0/10. We ended up eating breakfast elsewhere.

Throughout our stay, no one checked on us, and the noise levels were high both inside and outside the hotel. It genuinely felt like the staff and management did not care at all about guest satisfaction.

I’ve visited Istanbul more than five times, and I can confidently say that this hotel is one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in. I have family members who stayed here previously and had similar bad experiences, so clearly nothing has improved.

In summary:
• Unhelpful and rude management (Mr. Sinan)
• Zero customer service
• False advertising regarding room requests
• Poor hygiene and maintenance
• Awful breakfast
• No professionalism whatsoever

This hotel does not deserve its 9+ rating — in reality, it should be a 3 or 4 at best. There are many other hotels in Istanbul with kind staff, clean rooms, and genuine hospitality.

I would strongly advise against booking Miss Istanbul Hotel. Save your time, money, and peace of mind — look elsewhere.

Miss Istanbul Hotel Sirkeci: A Disappointing Stay Defined by Aggressive Management

My recent stay at the Miss Istanbul Hotel in the Sirkeci area was profoundly disappointing and unacceptable. While one hopes for professionalism and hospitality, our experience was defined by extremely poor customer service and numerous issues with room quality.
The most egregious issue was the conduct of the management, specifically an individual named Sinnan. We politely requested to change our room due to the unsuitable size (a request we made knowing previous family members had faced similar issues here). The manager was immediately abrupt, aggressive, and rude, showing zero willingness to listen or help. He was not prepared to listen to our concerns, ultimately shouting in the lobby so that the entire area could hear the confrontation. This kind of confrontational and aggressive behavior from hotel management is utterly inexcusable. Furthermore, there was a significant language barrier as personnel seemed to speak hardly a word of English, making basic support or assistance impossible. We felt completely abandoned, with no one checking up on us or offering any kind of help.
The room quality itself was substandard. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival, which is a major hygiene failure. The rooms are far too small; they are not appropriate for two people, let alone three, leaving us severely limited with space for both luggage and basic cupboard storage. Compounding the physical discomfort, the noise level was excessive.
Finally, the breakfast was a major letdown, scoring a definitive 0 out of 10.
We are extremely disappointed with our entire experience. This hotel is not recommended until a complete overhaul of customer service, management training, and room maintenance is implemented. Fellow travelers should be aware of the aggressive attitude and lack of support from the staff before booking here.

The room was clean, comfortable & affordable while most staff members friendly & helpful. Good location for entertainment & the breakfast was reasonably good.

This hotel has an excellent location; however, the staff are extremely rude. The laundry service is outsourced, and you might wait several days before they collect your clothes. If you ask about your laundry more than once, the staff become very irritated. The toilets are smelly. Management were trying to bother us, they even called us to complain about the same smell we have complained about stating that the smell is because our kids were doing their needs outside the toilets. As if we came from a jungle. It was so insulting! Even when I was trying to explain to the manager that we have complained about the same smell coming from the toilets, he didn't even bother responding as a man. They were just trying to push us out. Some staff even admitted that management is rude because we got a good rate through online booking platforms, while they could have charged more to direct customers. Room service is good if you fill with tip the envelope they put in your room for tips. If you forget, then it's a trash. Overall, our stay was unpleasant, but unfortunately, we had booked several days in advance.

Situation de l'hôtel en plein coeur de Sultanhamet. Hôtel avec petit dejeuner continental de très grande qualité.
La literie est neuve et très confortable.
L'état général est néanmoins vieillissant et nous n'avons pas pu profiter entièrement de la piscine fermé le lundi et jeudi. Dommage que cela ne soit annoncé dans la réservation.

Never again this hotel!

There is NO service, the staff is really rude and neither says hello nor good morning, they snap at the guests and are of no help! Not only that, but we had booked a standard room, which was terrible! The windows were drafty, so it was cold all the time, it says that it is soundproof, which is a big lie, you can hear people next door when they talk and when they are in the shower, the extractor fan in the bathroom is extremely noisy, and the room itself is worn out, there is a broken bedside lamp and worn furniture.

The breakfast is not very good! But the worst part is that the staff has not learned to smile at their guests! Terrible experience, it ruined our entire trip...

Der er INGEN service, personalet er virkelig sure og siger hverken hej eller godmorgen, de snære af gæsterne og er til ingen hjælp!
Ikke nok med det så havde vi booket et standart værelse, som var forfærdeligt!
Vinduerne var utætte så der var koldt hele tiden, der står at der er lydisoleret hvilket er en stor løgn, man kan høre folk der bor ved siden af når de snakker og når de er i bad, udsugeren ude på badeværelset larmer helt vildt og selve værelset er slidt, der er en ødelagt natlampe og slidte møbler.

Morgenmaden er ikke særlig godt!
Men helt klart er det væreste, at personalet ikke har lært at smile til deres gæster!
Forfærdelig oplevelse, det ødelagde hele vores tur..

I am extremely disappointed with the experience at this hotel, particularly due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the reception staff. My family was staying at this hotel, and as a visitor, I expected to be able to see them in a respectful and welcoming environment. However, the reception staff refused to let me visit their room, instead forcing me to wait in the lobby for an unreasonable amount of time.

The staff displayed a complete lack of customer service, treating me with disrespect and showing no willingness to accommodate even a simple request. Their dismissive attitude and unwillingness to provide any reasonable explanation for this policy made the experience even more frustrating.

A hotel should prioritize hospitality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction, but this establishment failed in all aspects. If this is how they treat visitors, I can only imagine how poorly they treat their paying guests. I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere if they value good service and a welcoming atmosphere. This was an unpleasant and disappointing experience that I would not wish on anyone.

After checking in we found that there was water leaking from the ceiling onto the beds and floor. Reported to reception who refused to move us suggesting to "maybe move the bed',. You cannot be expected to stay and sleep in a room where water is dripping on your heads! Had to find alternative accommodation in the middle of the night and move there instead. I am an experienced traveller and not a serial complainer: can overlook tired-looking rooms and the fact that the room is located in the basement in the staff wing next door to the kitchen as long as it reflects in the price. But c'mon, if you don't respect your guests, have a bit of respect for yourselves and your proclaimed stars. Rooms like this cannot be offered for booking.

I DO NOT recommend this hotel unless you are a married couple. They did not honor my reservation even though I prepaid. Luckily they gave a full refund but sometimes the city is sold out. What then? In 2024 it’s CRAZY WORK. No disclaimer on the Priceline website either.

If I could give this hotel zero rating I would. Save your money and stay someplace else. Hotel is a 4 star scam. Front desk employees are rude, very rude. We’re paying guests but they make us feel as if we’re seeking free shelter. Whole hotel is a catfish, worst experience ever. I couldn’t even cancel my reservation as they do no refunds. First they gave us basement room with no airflow, then comes the foul smell from their drains. Literally had to beg to switch rooms, and eventually did after a screaming fest in the lobby. Seven days in hell. Save your money.

This is just a terrible place. We went there and asked for an onvoice after our stay. They never made one. So we contacted them via booking + 5 emails. Never repliee.
Then of course we called (3 times) each time they pretend they'll do it the next day and don t do anything

I visited Istanbul with four other colleagues for a congress. We enjoyed our 5-day stay in Istanbul, full of experiences, history, hospitality and kindness of people all over the city.
We stayed at Miss Istanbul Spa&Hotel, which is located in the heart of Old Istanbul City (Sirkeci quarter). The location is perfect for tourists. All main tourist spots and historical sights are only a few hundred meters away. The neighborhood is clear and quiet with many shops and good restaurants. The rooms are small, but clean and tidy. For breakfast we were offered a wide variety of food including local specialties. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and kind, willing to give useful tips regarding sightseeing and visiting the city. In the evening, we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere in the spa, which offers a swimming pool, Finnish sauna and Turkish baths.
I hope to come back soon.

Wir hatten zuerst en Zimmer ohne offenes Fenster, uns wurde gesagt, dass wir aufgrund unserer günstigen Buchung nur eins im Keller bekommen - und das geht gar nicht. Wenn ich für weniger Geld auch weniger bekomme, möchte ich das im Vorfeld wissen. Da unser Sohn Asthma hat und auf frische Luft angewiesen ist, haben wir am zweiten Tag ein neues Zimmer bekommen, ohne Probleme.
Das Hotel ist ansonsten in bester Lage und auch so waren alle nett.
Das Parkgebühren nur bar gezahlt werden durften, ist für ein Hotel dieser Klasse sehr suspekt.

Super fin placering med en masse seværdigheder og spisesteder indenfor få afstand . Der serveres også en fin morgenmad udefra omstændighederne

Dog lå utilfredsheden på følgende:
- ingen fitness faciliteter selvom der skiltes med det
- ingen tyrkisk bad, selvom der skiltes med det
- massage personalet havde mere travlt med at ryge op ad vores værelse end passe deres arbejde
- virkelig mangelfuld rengøring, kaffekopper blev ikke skiftet men blot skyldet på værelserne , hvor vi selv måtte gøre dem dagligt rent .. toiletterne blev heller ikke rengjort , og dårlig udluftning i toiletterne .
Værelserne var ok, men lidt slidte

Ikke et sted jeg vil komme igen - men hvis man blot søger et sted at sove med central placering , er stedet glimrende - men forvent ikke mere
