Blue Wave House

I have nothing but good things to say about our stay at Blue Wave House Hotel. This was honestly one of the best stays we’ve ever had — everything was just perfect!
The room was super clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. They even helped us with our laundry, which was such a thoughtful and convenient touch.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful. I loved all the greenery and the beautiful plants they’ve planted around the property — it gives the whole place such a proper tropical vibe. The fish ponds, the rooms, the little details… every corner of this place was so lovely and thoughtfully done.

They also have a pantry area with pretty much everything you could need — cutlery, toaster, oven, microwave, even books to read and more. It was such a great addition and made the whole place feel so comfortable and homely. Honestly, it felt like a home away from home.

And the sea view from our room was just amazing! Waking up and seeing that view was definitely one of my favorite parts of the stay.

I honestly don’t understand why this place has only 2 stars. Maybe it’s because it’s relatively new, but in my opinion, this place deserves so much more. It’s beautiful, peaceful, clean, well-maintained, and the people here genuinely make you feel welcome.

We absolutely loved our stay and I’m definitely staying here again the next time I’m in Koh Tao. I cannot recommend this place enough! ❤️🌴

Absolutely awesome hotel run by a lovely Thai family, with a very good staff team. The hotel was started by the father, and now the son and family run operations together, everyone works as one team. It’s right in the middle of all the action, so it’s easy to get anywhere. There are plenty of food, drink, and bar options all around, plus a popular 7-Eleven and other supermarkets nearby. Spas, gyms, and Pilates studios are within a few minutes’ walk, along with two good small hospitals, banks, post offices, and ATMs.

The rooms are superb, large, clean, with a great bed, mattress, and pillows. Housekeeping staff are excellent.

Breakfast includes fruit, toast with butter and jam, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice, a simple, perfect spread.

Overall, this is a great place to stay.

Das Blue Wave House in Koh Tao ist eine gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, wenn man die Insel besucht. Vom Fähranleger läuft man ca. 10-15 Minuten zur Unterkunft (bergauf). Der Weg ist einfach zu finden. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und modern. Die Zimmer sind wirklich groß und bieten viele Ablagemöglichkeiten sowie einen kleinen Balkon mit Stühlen, Tisch und Wäscheständern, um seine Sachen nach dem (z.B.) Strandbesuch zu trocken. In der Unterkunft gibt es ein kleines kostenloses Frühstück, welches Toast, Müsli, Obst (Banane, Wassermelone), Tee, Kaffee, Marmelade, Honig, etc. beinhaltet. Es ist absolut ausreichend! Das Hotel bietet auch einen Wäscheservice an. Ebenfalls kann man dort Taucherbrillen und Schnorchel leihen. Auch Touren lassen sich über das Hotel buchen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Die Unterkunft liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße (Hauptstraße), daher kann es auch nachts sehr laut sein. Das Hotel stellt allerdings in den Zimmern kostenlose Ohrstöpsel zur Verfügung.

La habitación era cómoda limpia y tenía todo lo necesario. En la descripción no sale el desayuno pero por la mañana en recepción hay unas mesas y café, leche, tostadas y todo lo necesario para tomar algo si no quieres cosas cocinadas. En la habitación hay unos pareos para usarlos durante la estancia, unas bolsas de tela para llevar las cosas a la playa y en recepción facilitan toallas,máscaras y tubos para snorkel.

Great location, beautiful room, AC worked wonderfully! Snorkels and beach sarongs to borrow and breakfast every morning, which was fab! Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the woman running it who was so lovely

Blue Wave is in a great position- 6min walk from/to the pier & near all the diving tour/boat operators. It’s a busy area so lots happening, more restaurants open at night. Staff were really kind & love that they offer beach towels, sarongs & I noticed some sunscreen as well plus they offer some breakfast items - perfect before a day trip out on the boat. Also have a kitchen area you can heat food etc
