I liked staying in the small renovated apartments. They were really cozy and perfect for our stay. I wish there was more parking available though. There was a lot right next door, but it was a paid lot and the parking expenses felt like they racked up quickly.
We were happy with everything other than the front door could use a curtain or blinds, because that sunlight in the morning did not let us sleep in. Awesome location with so many places in walking distance. Clean place. It was a little cramped, but we had a nice stay.
I enjoyed the size of the bungalow, I would stay there again. I also like the area very walkable. Nothing i didn't like, because i had a great B-day experience 😌 thank you.
I had a fantastic stay after a VRBO nightmare earlier in my trip. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. The property was SO cute and well kept. I’ll absolutely be trying Sonder in other cities and I’m staying here when I’m back in San Diego!
A great little place right near Little Italy.
The place itself was beautiful and cozy. The only issue for me was parking. It was very hard finding a spot close to the our hotel and LAZ parking was very expensive.
HORRIBLE small space. A motorhome offers better room than Bungalows. Claims courtyard patio. It was 2 chairs in dirt next to AC generators box.
You must find paid parking lot if you drive to San Diego. Photos provided by website are grossly inaccurate representation. We will never return or recommend to travelers.
Had an amazing time at this residence. There’s a big step to get to the bathroom over the location of the Murphy bed , so beware if mobility poses a challenge.
The exterior was not very clean. The room was small and you could hear all the neighbors talking. You had to hop over the bed to get to the bathroom. The walls, sink, and shower was of age.
Cleanliness could be a bit better, but overall nice!
This was a very cute tiny cottage perfect for a couple. It was conveniently located to Little Italy and all of my favorite restaurants. My only complaint was that the bed was so uncomfortable. When my husband and I would go to sleep the middle would sink a little which obviously is very uncomfortable.
It was amazing here! It was just very bright in the mornings due to the white curtains so if you like to sleep in and are sensitive to light then that's something to consider.
Nice little spot! Good location and nice to have a kitchenette. Only thing was the bed was a little uncomfy but would still stay here again.
I booked this trip last minute and was excited to find this cute place in Little Italy. It exceeded my expectations and I look forward to going back, I highly recommend this property.
It's a small, boutique style property. The app was super easy to use and the directions to the property were spot on. The app had all the information I needed as well as recommendations and points of interest.
Everything inside and out was clean, well presented and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and I loved having a comfortable lounge area, couch and TV and I played the records on the cute record player.
The bathroom was small but the shower products were really nice and the extras like earplugs, sound machine and lots of fluffy towels were much appreciated.
The kitchen had everything I needed and much more. Great coffee and a selection of teas, I liked having a coffee pot and toaster, full size appliances and nice dishes and silverware. In other reviews people ask for a Keurig as they didn't like making and wasting coffee for one person. However, the coffee packets did have instructions on making a single cup and how much of the coffee to use.
I highly recommend this property, it's my favourite place to stay in San Diego now!
This is ideally placed (a few blocks from the trolley, very near Little Italy restaurants, walk to park or waterfront, walk to Civic Center) and super cute. I prefer this very much to hotels.
Great stay and walkable to a lot of great bars and restaurants!
This was okay; yoy have to jump over the bed to get to the bathroom in our suite; which i guess i didnt notice in the photos. The outside area is pretty dang loud, construction, the busy street. you can hear through the paper thin walls all night and day. The pillows are cheap and tiny, the bed is okay; really basic mattress
if your looking for comfort; get something else. Also all around the parking lot, outside, smells like urine. Hard.
Very nice home feel to the bungalow!
Quiet and clean
This was my first time to San Diego and I was very happy with my stay here. I really love that you get friendly and specific instructions how to check in and you don’t have to deal with big hotel lobbies, and waiting. The room felt like my apartment back in NYC, and had everything I needed. I will stay at other Sonder places in the future!
