Location and staff were amazing
PowerPoints didn’t work and there was weird white powder in the room. The sky bar was also quite expensive and lacked atmosphere.
This hotel is right in the centre of the Ho Chi Minh City. Walkable to famous spot Ben thanh market and walking street.
This place in district 1 is quite famous and for that packed location this hotel provides good rooms.
Room attendant Quang and waitress Ruby were super polite. Anyone planning go Ho Chi Minh, i would highly recommend this place for good experience, atmosphere and accessibility.
It was an excellent stay. Thank you so much Nguyen and luc for your hospitality and care. Sky bar and morning breakfast were the highlight of the hotel.

While the rooms on the ground floor behind the reception area were modern and recently renovated, they were significantly affected by noise from the foyer and guests, which remained quite loud throughout the evening and night.
Top marks for: clean, daily room service, lovely staff, welcoming reception, good choices at breakfast, including an egg/ omelette bar. Excellent location.
It is not clear online that the basic rooms do not have a window! I feel that this should be clear at booking. We upgraded at the hotel to a Lessini room which luckily was available. I would have preferred to know before I booked.

Vores allerbedste ophold, var på dette her hotel. Beliggenhed med mange spisesteder, caféer og ikke mindst tæt på ikoniske Ben Thanh markedet. Jeg kan ikke rose personalet nok. Alle var så søde, hjælpsomme og imødekommende. Jeg har specielt en stor tak til Jade, som hjalp med alt, vi havde brug for. Hun er en guldstjerne for hotellet.

The moment I arrived till the Day I departed the staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly a big shout out to the staff in the skybar Mr Lucky’s Miss Ruby and Mr Long they provided great hospitality, the hotel is located in a good area only 5 min walk to walking street were the night lift is busy the rooms are very clean and has good amenities and great value for money I will definitely be back.
very good hotel in Ho chi Minh city. we can visit almost mustsee spots in hochiminh by grab or walk on food. Hotel is in very good location, and have everything we need.
Goede voldoende grote kamer. Zwembad is tot 23:00 open. Skybar ook. Hotel in de buurt van metro en voldoende goede eetgelegenheden.

Front foyer of the hotel and the view from rooftop bar was the only 2 things nice about the hotel.
Unfortunately, our stay at Happy Life Grand Hotel was not a good experience. The twin share room was small with only 2 single beds. Bathroom didn’t have shampoo, conditioner and extra toiletries like other hotels around Saigon.
The swimming pool area was extremely slippery, and the staff appeared to already be aware of the issue, yet no action had been taken to address it. It felt like an accident waiting to happen.
In addition, the rooftop bar appeared quite neglected, with a lot of clutter and a poor overall ambience.
The rats running around outside the hotel should be looked into.
