Ocean 101 Beach Resort

Positive aspects:
- beautiful views of both sunrise and sunset
- decent food options in the restaurant
- easy check in
Negatives:
- no shampoo or soap and these were not delivered even after I’ve asked
- bad insulation. I could hear people next room.
- the pool opens only at 8 am. As someone who wakes up with sunrise I wish there was more flexibility
- entering the sea from here is very rough.
- I also had stains all over my bedding upon checking in and had to ask to have my bedding changed.

It was a wonderful place to stay the amenities were great the food was pretty good The service was typical Filipino or as a restaurant go they could do a little improvements on that. But it was really a great place to stay Mike the owner is very nice I talked to him for a while and everything that was great. We stayed in room 213 which is the best room there It has a balcony that overlooks the ocean the pool restaurant and beautiful sunrise and sunset

Piss poor

Beautiful area with great staff. Only flaws was our room. Toilet wasn’t flushing and rats in the ceiling. Found some rats dropping on our bed.

It’s the biggest resort property I have been in siargao. Lots of open spaces to lounge in with a spectacular view of the ocean. All instagrammable. The location of the pool is perfect! It’s like being in the ocean waters. There is even a parking space available within the premises.
We stayed both in the ocean view and garden view rooms. If you’re big on waking up with the view of the sea, ocean view is for you. But the garden view rooms are not bad at all since the sprawling garden is beautiful as well. Personally, I like the garden view room better as they are more spacious and more updated.
Service is great too! The staff are courteous and attend to your needs well. They also have a restaurant which serves delicious and affordable food. Not to mention the view of the ocean as you dine!
Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property, nice rooms, nice shower. decent food, decent massage. Beds are hard mats pretty much every where we stayed in the Philippines.

Hotel amenities such as soap, shampoo, coffee totally SUCKED in this hotel. Lighting in rooms and bathroom are poor. Fixtures (such as toilet flush) are defective or poorly maintained. Wifi in the room practically nonexistent.

For its price, NOT WORTH IT.

This is the best resort to stay at it's quiet and has a great view of the waves and offshore islands, it's got an amazing garden and pool and chill out areas. Food is great too and having a generator during the current blackout on Siargao made us book this resort. Will be back for sure

Staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms and bedding kept clean. Beautiful pool, and grounds. Food was good, but dining service was lacking. Prices- excellent. Would definitely stay here again, and recommend to others.

Loved ocean 101. Friendly staff. Close to cloud 9 walking distance can snorkel straight out the front and the beautiful pool it is so lovely and relaxing.

I have stayed here several times it’s always good with one of the best locations on the island. Great rooms and the food in the restaurant is always good.

Staff are very friendly and the room is very clean with stunning view of the ocean. Will surely book again. ☺️

The resort has really nice views of sunset every day, and it's so close to Cloud 9 so it's easy to surf. Check-in was really awkward and one of the front desk staff members seems to not want to be bothered, but housekeeping, security, and the restaurant staff are all friendly and helpful. The chill area along the water has a nice breeze and really nice to hang out for sunset.

The location is great! The people were super friendly and helpful!

The internet was terrible and the power went off frequently. Tha bathroom sink was broken and one waitress told me that she doesn’t like foreigners. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone I didn’t like 💩💩💩
