We enjoyed our visit. Its a clean, modern hotel that is in a good area and very close to the subway.
Pros:

It was well worth the extra price to upgrade to a city view. The rooms are "smaller" than many places but you are staying in the city after all. I enjoyed the modern appeal of this hotel too.

Cons:

Checking in was probably the worst experience out of any hotel I've ever stayed at. The lobby at the main entrance is super tiny so we took the elevator upstairs to check in by the bar. There were only 3 others in front of us and we waited in line about 45 minutes as their system kept giving them issues. It was also hard checking in our reservation as they said they couldn't find our booking reservation even though it was in the system .. the first guy behind the counter while apologetic, was clueless.

Excellent location, great breakfast, wonderful stay!
Pros:

The location was excellent, and the room offered stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge and downtown. Breakfast was outstanding, with thoughtful substitutions to accommodate vegetarian preferences. The staff were also exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
