Pros:

The property and room was very clean and well kept. The location is great to walk everywhere....from the beach to the main street for taxis. Breakfast options were great and the restaurant staff were always smiling and welcoming. Would have been nice to have bottled water replaced everyday in the room as we stayed 5 nights.
Dinner however, was a disaster. We ordered a seafood platter, most expensive on the menu, and everything was dry, overcooked, and cold. We mentioned to the servers and was hoping the owner or manager would be concerned and adjust the price, but sadly no. There are many great seafood restaurants to choose from in Puerto Lopez (Carmita's), and within easy walking distance.

I think this is the nicest hotel in Puerto Lopez. Yes, there were a few problems, and a few things could have been better, but in the grand scheme of things, not worth mentioning! I wouldn't have wanted to move anywhere else for the 4 nights I was there! Well run, professional staff, great restaurant and very friendly! Edgar, from Columbia, was outstanding and spoke very good English. Diane, the "wellness woman" gave the BEST massage I have ever had anywhere!!!
