Beautiful and friendly hotel in the midst of Gion
Pros:

Lovely hotel - really stylish place in the heart of Gion. Staff were so nice - we got a lovely welcome and decoration in our room for our honeymoon. Arigatō!

They kindly helped us with taxis and luggage transfers too. I hurt my back while in Kyoto and they were helpful with making things more comfortable for me too.

Lovely spacious room in comparison to other hotels on our trip. Perfect location - would stay again :)

Sehr schönes Hotel an idealer Lage
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels nahe der Sehenswürdigkeiten ist ideal. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, eher eng, aber sehr zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Personal an der Reception war überaus freundlich und hat keine Mühen gescheut, alle unsere Fragen und Anliegen zu klären.

Un hotel que solo es bonito en fotos
Pros:

Lo único que es salvable del hotel es la ubicación y que la cama era algo cómoda

Cons:

No sé ni por dónde empezar. Las paredes y el techo de la habitación llenos de manchas y gotas de a saber que. Te ponen unas cápsulas de café y no las limpian aunque se lo pidas poniendo el típico cartel, ni te hacen la cama, con suerte, nos pusieron toallas limpias al segundo día. La lavadora no la uséis ya que funciona fatal. La ropa nos la dejó como si la hubiéramos dejado dentro de una piscina, además por más que pusimos el programa de secado, en total 4 veces, no secó nada, solo calentó la ropa. Hasta las 12 de la noche desde las 5 de la tarde intentando secar la ropa. Perdimos una tarde por culpa del hotel. No se lo recomiendo a nadie.

The best place to stay in Kyoto.
Pros:

Everything! The rooms were big and clean, beds super comfy. The staff was really nice and helpful. Absolutely staying here next time I’m in Kyoto.

We enjoyed our stay very much!
Pros:

It is super clean, and has a nice ambiance. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. When we needed to have medical gelp, the receptionist spend lot if time to search for an emergency room available. We also forgot our passports at the hotel. They contacted us right away and keep those until

Nice accomm in Gion
Pros:

We’ve stayed here a few times now and really enjoy it. The hotel is in a great location and it’s nice and quiet at night.

This time we had a nice little balcony with views to lush hills and temples.

The staff are lovely.

Cons:

The laundry/washing machine needs updating. If you accidentally use the wrong setting and want to change it, you can’t. You have to wait for the cycle to end.
