Great value spot!
Pros:

Loved the seaside location and view from the room! Breakfast was delicious and staff were kind and helpful.

Cons:

The room was very hot and stuffy and I had trouble sleeping without a fan on offer. Plus with the many hours of daylight it was hard to sleep in a non-dark room.

Small, well placed. Genuine sea view.

Needed a few bits of maintenance, but it didn’t detract from our stay.

Our stay was as we hoped, allowing our friends to bring back many memories of Crail.
Pros:

Great location just out of town, management and staff all friendly. The weather was good too...

Cons:

Thought the front garden and car park, could be smartened up significantly.

Not up to the Hype!
Pros:

Old building not well renovated. Staircases are 1950 as is the carpet. Bathroom was tiny. Not even a stand to put suitcase on. Breakfast starts at 8am - really , what world are they living in. Hot water was supposed to start at 7am well good luck I had none at 7.45. Price is way too high for such a hotel - should be ca 40% less. Staff are OK but need to less in a rush. Did not have a meal - just round corner in Anstruther harbour is one of top rated Fish and Chip shops in UK.

Nice wee gem in Crail
Pros:

We were booked for the weekend 29-31 May for a group of 10 family members as we were attending a Wedding nearby in Crail. We all had a wonderful experience and Scott the Manager made us all feel very welcome and relaxed. The rooms were spacious and we were on the 2nd floor and had a view over the sea. Breakfast was abundant and fast for the hot stuff. The hotel is ideally located for walking into town.

Pros:

Friendly staff room and facilities good. Good internal refurbishment.

Cons:

Poor kerb appeal, building needs painting and the external areas need attention. The hotel has been refurbished internally and is very good, so I guess you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
