The Drake Hotel

First time at the Drake and I really enjoyed my stay. Queen room, was cozy, clean and comfortable. Good restaurant downstairs, helpful waiters, a popular place with an excellent bar, and a fun trivia night while I was there. A shout out to manager Nazmi Erdogan, who treated me well. Organizers of the conference I attended assured me that they'd booked my room at the Drake but they had not. Mr. Erdogan found a room for me (the last one in the house) had my bags taken up and honored the conference group rate though he had no obligation to do so. Very professional and gracious. Thank you Nazmi.

Our room must have been under renovation (painting the ceiling). The smoke detector was covered with plastic and painters tape, there was dust settled on most surfaces and when our heater was turned on dust sprayed out. We didn't notice any of this when we arrived as we were there for a wedding and dropped our stuff off and went to the wedding and came back late to sleep. We noticed this all in the morning, I'm sure the staff would have addressed if we had time to bring it up, but it's not acceptable for a room that we paid such a large amount of money for. In reality it never should have been turned over a to guest in this condition. It all appeared to be fresh dust from the panting (my assumption), so I wouldn't say it was a sign of ongoing long term cleanliness issues. Brunch was great, location was perfect for the wedding.

Really the best experience in service and accommodation. Tino and Liza were above and beyond several times during my 10 day stay. I highly recommend The Drake and take the time to experience the music venue and restaurant on the premises . The food was excellent!

my friends and I went to the Drake for a breakfast but unfortunately the drag breakfast was sold out but Ryder and Morgan were sweet enough to let us walk down and see a few sets before it ended. On top of that they gave us a coupon for the Photo Booth because we didn’t have any Canadian money on us. The drag queens shouted out our bride and even gave us complimentary shots since all the shows that day were already sold out. I highly recommend this place and especially the staff here. They are the sweetest souls and our bride had the best time ever. Thank you Thank you!!

Recently had a very enjoyable visit to the Drake Hotel in Toronto. I had the opportunity to tour the impressive rooftop terrace suite — even the guest corridor hallways are well-designed with great views.

The SkyBar was a particular highlight. I enjoyed cocktails & bites accompanied by exceptional service from Adam, one of the bartenders. He was attentive, charming and very friendly. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was both cozy and comfortable.

It is truly a wonderful and fun place!

Had an outstanding meal and experience at the Drake Hotel last week. Went for the Happy Hour to celebrate a milestone and Virna went OUT of her way to make the meal special. She was attentive, funny, and kind. The food was exceptionally good and had great vegetarian options. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Great brunch before checking in, close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops for a day out. Staff were very friendly and got a room upgrade on arrival. Lovely room with all amenities and very comfy bed. Great hotel with cool vibe. Would recommend

Such an amazing experience at the Drake hotel! My partner and I hosted our engagement party in the sky yard, and we were blown away! The decor and vibes were amazing and it’s all thanks to the amazing staff. Faegen the event coordinator made it such an easy process to plan and went above and beyond my expectations. My server + bartender duo were Virna and Angelina who also did an amazing job.

I would 100% recommend if you’re thinking of planning an event here.

My wife and I got married in the Drake Hotel's Owner's Suite and it was an absolutely incredible experience! The staff were with us all day helping to set up, organize, and assist with our guests. In addition to the day-of, the staff were in contact with us to help plan everything for months. We had the ceremony on the balcony and a cocktail reception with passed canapes in the suite, followed by a dinner in the cafe downstairs. The staff put all this together, and dealt with getting everyone from space-to-space seamlessly, all while making it look effortless. It's really special to be able to say that even the setting-up part of our wedding was fun! We could not have asked for a more stress-free experience, and it was all due to the world-class hospitality staff at the Drake. Huge shoutout to our event-coordinator, Faegen. Without her this dream wedding couldn't have happened. Also, shoutout to Virna, our lead server for the evening, and our bar team of Marc and Juan were all a joy, and instrumental to the success of our wedding.
In addition to the service, the food and the drinks were incredible - our guests were blown away by the quality.

Last but not least, the Owner's Suite is the most unique and beautiful hotel room we have ever had the privilege of staying in. It is enormous, boasts an incredible view, and is adorned with unique art. Not to mention it is filled with every amenity you could want.

I only went to an event an it was packed all over the hotel. Poorly planned, barely any staff, and just a mess with long wait times and barely any cleaning. Glasses were on the floor

We went to brunch on December 13th served by Kai. The service was wonderful, the show was fantastic! I have been to brunch many times and it never disappoints !!

The service agent Constantino was exceptional. He helped us get situated and was able to check us into our room early, directed us where to go eat and made our check-in very easy.

My partner and I were visiting from out of town and had the most incredible date night at The Drake during half-price steak night. The steak was outstanding, but what truly made the evening unforgettable was the exceptional service from our server, Kai. Kai was warm, hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, and offered thoughtful recommendations that made us feel genuinely taken care of. Their energy and attention to detail elevated the entire experience and turned a great dinner into a truly special night. We cannot wait to come back!

Kai was the best. Very knowledgeable, upbeat, and made our night. Good was amazing, vibe was good, and we really enjoyed our time. Merry Christmas to the whole staff, we appreciate you making our Christmas Eve!
