Fabulous decor and location to Birmingham city centre. Clean, tidy well maintained rooms and facilities.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent too, rhe shower was great. The breakfast was very good, I had mushrooms and sausage which were very nicely cooked, and the bread was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The duvet was a bit too warm. There was no high fibre cereal such as all-bran.
Set in a classical, early 20th Century house, the room was exceptionally well equipped, lovely shower room and excellent coffee or tea making. Extremely comfy bed gave a great nights sleep

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and I was very happy they could add a camp bed as our son was staying with us too. Close to the University of Birmingham.

Really calm atmosphere. Even though it's a busy conference hotel it still felt warm and inviting. Room was clean and comfortable, green view from the window, comfortable bed, good nights sleep. Helpful polite staff. Great location to visit our daughter at Uni.
The lighting in the bar. There are loads of more mood like lights around but all the full lights were on so it felt cold and lacked atmosphere. Just needed the lights dimming. Also very cold under air-conditioning in the nicer arm chair seats. Appreciate it is a conference hotel but we would have stayed in the bar longer if it had felt nicer. These are more recommendations than anything else. It is still a lovely hotel where we would definitely stay again.
good room, clean, functional and good location for my visit.
On arrival no parking. Staff at desk was very poor in communicating I understood the challenge they were having however the attitude was not at all acceptable from that moment on my feeling around the hotel was -ve. The room was clean, the facilities were fine for what it was. The motives were parking and close to QE hospital. bad attitude and no parking was the reason for the poor experience. Above all poor attitude. Front desk is the first experience a person has at a hotel. It sets the tone...
Location as I was doing an event at the university. Breakfast was good and the staff were helpful.

Clean and modern well equiped room
The room is perfect (Little Cobwebs in the bathroom). Otherwise, spotless. Breakfast was delicious. However, the day in hours is getting lesser.

The hotel was in a perfect location for the university open day. We stayed the night before. As we were coming from a distance, it was nice to have a break from the drive there and back. The hotel was beautifully clean, and the staff were very friendly. It was a great location for the university, and if my daughter decides to attend the University of Birmingham, I imagine we will visit this hotel regularly while visiting her.
I don't have many complaints, but the parking was a real hassle. We arrived at night when it was super dark, and the layout was really confusing. There were a few dead-end rows where you couldn't turn around, so if there wasn't a spot, you had to reverse all the way back out. We got stuck for a while because there were two cars behind us, and I actually scuffed my wheel on a damaged curb while trying to maneuver. We eventually just gave up and parked on the lower level of the multi story car park!
