Man konnte beim frühstücken die Tiere beobachten.

Ontbijt gemiddeld

Cons:

Prijsafspraken met Booking.com zijn absoluut niet duidelijk. In eerste instantie moest ik € 60,- per nacht betalen terwijl ik geboekt heb voor € 45,- per nacht.
Ontbijt zat ook in de prijs maar heb ik toch betaald. 2 x € 10,-
Ik heb co tant afgerekend, ga er van uit dat ik niet nog een afschrijving krijg via mijn creditcard

Sollte ich je wieder in Lügde Tage verbringen wollen - immer wieder Kempenhof!
Pros:

Der Kempenhof ist einfach super: Tolle Lage, ein wunderschönes Hotel, älter, aber unglaublich liebevoll eingerichtet. Mein Zimmer hatte blattgoldene Luster und Spiegel, Stuck an der Decke - ein Traum! Das Frühstück war wirklich extraordinär, für den guten Preis hätte ich abgepackte Päckchen für Butter, Käsecreme, Leberwurst etc. erwartet - nein: Es gab alles, und das vom Feinsten! Der Biergarten ist ebenfalls wunderschön, eine Blütenpracht sondergleichen! Die Bedienung und das Gastwirtspaar sind superfreundlich, aber kein bisschen aufdringlich, und haben mir Auskunft gegeben z.B. über Wanderungen in der Gegend.

Cons:

Entschuldigung, aber falls Sie es lesen, liebe Gastgeber: Der Duschkopf machte Sperenzchen, es spritzte mehr an der Seite heraus als nach unten. Aber nicht schlimm!

Sehr ruhig und sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Cons:

Leider ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und es wird Zeit für eine Renovierung. Besonders die Bäder und Toiletten müssen erneuert werden.

Just lovely
Pros:

Lovely quiet hotel, great views, healthy breakfast, owner remembered our preferences for tea or coffee and brought them to us as soon as we sat down for breakfast, really friendly staff

Cons:

When we booked we needed a very late check in due to flights (1am) I checked a couple of times with the hotel to make sure this was okay. When we arrived we woke up the owner who didn't know we were arriving so late as the owners son was the one answering the questions and didn't relay these to the owner.

It wasn't really a problem but it wasn't great for us or the owner

Quirky hotel in pretty countryside
Pros:

Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel decor is a medley of paintings, needlepoint and stained glass scenes of local sights, and the main dining hall features taxidermy and bearskins, giving it the atmosphere of a comfortable hunting lodge. We had several meals there and the food was excellent. Our group included guests ranging in age from 12 to 79 and everyone was pleased. The grounds themselves are chockfull of eclectic statuary including angels, gnomes and fairytale-like figures. Each room is unique with varying decor and my advice is to go with it.

A deserved good review
Pros:

Was pleasantly suprise by the whole package. Very good valuse for money, warm welcome (not just professional), great view over the city. Quality fitture and fittings and a very atmospheric dinning area. Worth every penny and on par with most 4 star hotel.
