Great location close to everything you need. Clean and comfortable and very quiet.
Pool was not heated on our visit and our AC filter was filthy. But the staff took our concerns seriously and made a note for management.
Everything
Nothing
The breakfast was not too good. The food was cold and not a very good selection for a top rate hotel
The step in and out of the tub is a little too much especially for an elderly person like myself
Breakfast was different every morning. Gave it more variety which is good. It was a nice, clean hotel.
Pillows were not great but we made due. Definitely not a deal breaker
Good breakfast. Sadly they didnt provide sweets and muffi
Beds were comfortable facility was modern and clean
We had to wait ten minutes at 6pm on a Saturday to check in because there was only one front desk clerk and he was apparently in the restroom so there was no one to check us in.
There were no luggage carts available at check in and the clerk who had kept us waiting seemed upset that I requested he check the hallways for any available.
The front desk called us twice about noise complaints at 730 pm and 845 pm. I cannot think of any reason for a complaint other than our young children walking around the room loudly at times and perhaps this bothered the people below us. Nothing else about our room could’ve been loud no music or tv or anything. It’s unreasonable to have an expectation of complete silence at a roadside family oriented hotel on a Saturday evening before 9pm. I highly doubt the staff bothered to walk the hallways and investigate. I used to work in a hotel and we always would walk by the room to confirm it was loud before we would call a guest relating to a noise complaint.
While the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the $150 we spent to stay seemed excessive. There is nothing particularly unique about the hotel-no restaurant or bar, and we had stayed at another chain hotel in Salina for nearly half the price a few days earlier and this Fairfield certainly wasn’t worth twice that.
