I have to echo others' comments about the staff; they are kind, professional, helpful, hard-working, willing to answer any question, efficient and knowledgeable, really above and beyond. Breakfasts were delicious with healthy options like a lovely fruit salad. We asked about borrowing bikes the first day and they were instantly provided. (The bikes are okay for short trips in town but we rented different bikes nearby to go outside town.)

Our first room (standard), looked out onto neighbouring properties that weren't especially scenic, so we asked to change to a room in the front, overlooking the river. It was small, with room for the bed and space to walk around it, but had a nice little balcony to enjoy the river view.

The public areas are very nice with comfortable seating, pleasant decor, and a welcoming home-like atmosphere.

Cons:

The rooms are small. Both rooms had a few hangers but no shelving for belongings or any place to put a suitcase or backpack other than the floor. Both rooms we stayed in had a lot of condensation on the floor-to- ceiling windows and even a bit of water pooling on the floor in the riverfront room. That room also had a little mould buildup in the bathroom.

Conclusión final, si vuelvo a Carmelo voy a ir de vuelta a este hotel

Si, muy lindo para ser 3 estrellas y muy buena la ubicación

Cons:

Solo que el desayuno es hasta las 9:30 hs, un poco corto el horario

El lugar es muy lindo, muy bien ambientado. El desayuno espectacular. Muy rico todo. Nos lo recomendaron de Nido, el restaurante que esta cerca, que también recomiendo asistir. Muchas gracias por todo!

Cons:

Las habitaciones tendrían que tener jarras eléctricas para calentar agua porque si se pide en recepción la cargan a la habitación. No hay llave de la puerta principal, por lo que hay que tocar timbre para entrar
