SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL

We had a nice room with an excellent shower. The room was larger than I thought it would be. Finding the hotel from Shibuya station can be a nightmare. Whatever you do, don't follow the crowds off the train and head down to street level. That way leads to a world of pain (don't ask how I know), you need to head up a floor for the C2 exit which is a southern exit. There are signs for the hotel but it can be confusing.
The hotel bar seems to shut at 9pm which seems a bit early. We didn't have breakfast there as it seemed quite expensive and there are places close by that do good coffee etc.
We really liked the hotel. There are loads of eating places in the same building and nearby.

We stayed at Shibuya Stream Hotel in early October. The location is great if you’re in your 20s and want to explore Shibuya’s nightlife — you’re right in the middle of everything, and it’s super convenient to walk back after a night out.

That said, the rooms are really small, and the bed is tiny for two people, definitely smaller than a queen by American standards. The housekeeping process was also frustrating — they’d come in early, bunch everything up, put cups in the sink, and then return hours later to finish cleaning. It made it hard to rest or spend time in the room during the day.

The hotel is very trendy and would probably appeal to younger travelers who care more about style and location than comfort. But for the price (over $300 a night), it just doesn’t deliver the value. There are likely better options nearby that offer more space and a more relaxing experience for the same or less money. However if you were getting a better rate, say $200/night, could be worth it

Situated above a food mall, with great views of Tokyo. Double sealed windows keep out the city sounds.

Minutes from great shopping, fun little side streets with great eateries, connected to a main metro station make this hotel a great choice for seeing Tokyo.

We stayed at Shibuya Stream Hotel and overall had a very good experience. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Shibuya, just a block from the famous Scramble Crossing and directly connected to Shibuya Sky. The hotel sits on top of a metro station, which makes getting around Tokyo incredibly convenient, especially if you want to be close to all the action.
The property is modern and tech-savvy, with clean, comfortable rooms that are relatively spacious given the area. Air conditioning worked well, and there are plenty of dining options within the same building for both breakfast and dinner. The staff were professional, helpful, and spoke multiple languages, which made communication easy.
On the downside, it took us a little while to find the entrance due to nearby construction. It can also be a bit noisy at night given the busy surroundings, and our room didn’t have much of a view. Overall, though, it’s a great option if you want a modern stay right in the center of Shibuya.

Nicely kept hotel right in the heart of Shibuya area. It's got an urban vibe to decor. Room was large and very quiet. Rooms have floor to ceiling windows with panoramic views of Tokyo. Breakfast was very good and had lots of options Only thing we remarked on was how dark the hallways are. That may be because Americans are used to very well lit halls. Would stay here again.

One of my favorites hotels in Tokyo

Great view, convenient location, quiet and clean room in such a bustling neighborhood with so much dining and shopping options. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I can’t wait to go back to Tokyo and stay here again. I really enjoyed the various amenities on different floors, especially the vending machine room.

This hotel is conveniently located right beside the famous Shibuya Scramble. Shibuya Station is one floor down in the same building which made traveling anywhere in Tokyo very easy. Tons of shopping and restaurants near by obviously.
As a solo traveller the room was spacious. The view was really cool with Tokyo Tower in the distance. Everything was clean and comfortable. The (faux?) leather couch was a nice touch and the bed was super comfortable. AC was way better than other places I stayed at in Japan. The staff was great and held my large suitcases to be picked up and shipped to the airport which made life so much easier. Would definitely recommend and I 100% will book again when I’m back in Tokyo!

Great staff, clean / comfortable rooms and excellent location

We chose this hotel due to it's close proximity to the train station. You can see the rest of Tokyo with ease from here. Also there are a lot of shopping and dining options in the area. The hotel lobby is located on the 4th floor. There is a restaurant and bar on this floor. The rest of the hotel rooms are on the 9th to 13th floor. Our room was spacious for Japanese standard. Good for two adults with large luggage. The room was super clean when we got in. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I'd definitely come stay here again in Tokyo.

Next to Shibuya station, dining, and shopping. It's a small boutique hotel that's clean. This hotel doesn't have access to TV programming.

Close to the train station. Housekeeping was great. Great eating options all close.

Good condition and facilities. Comfy bed and clean room. Only issue was with noise from the street, there is attenuation but can still hear low frequency/bass music/noise from the outside.

Easily accessible. Good buffet breakfast. Good sized room. Helpful staff.
