Pros:

The property was clean, facilities were good and the closeness to great places to eat.

Cons:

This is more just a problem with society in general but the group of homeless people that were living on the street around the entrance, one in particular, scared my wife and kids.

A nice apartment in an awesome location.
Pros:

We booked two rooms - a 1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom and a 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom - for my wife and me, and for my son and his family. Both rooms were suitably sized and quite comfortable. The apartments are located within a short walk of the south bank cultural precinct, close to many bars, cafes and restaurants and about 600m from the South Brisbane train station and ferry wharf.

Cons:

Given that I booked two rooms for our family I was very disappointed that the rooms were not reasonably close to each other. We were allocated one on the 15th floor and the other on the 29th floor, an issue made worse by the fact that the elevators were key controlled, i.e. restricted access to your assigned floor only.
Our room on the 29th floor overlooked the elevated railway line, and the trains could be clearly heard at all hours of the day and night. Our room contained a washing machine and dryer in a small closed off area within the bathroom, which smelled really badly. We had to leave the balcony door and internal doors open to reduce the impact.

It was handy to the places we planned to visit.

Cons:

The key did not open the door, it had to be jiggled and sometimes that didn’t work, I was worried about coming back late and not be able to get into my room. I asked to have the room changed but was told they were 100%booked and that he would call a locksmith, which he did not do. The 2 tvs in the unit did not work and we could not log in to the wifi.

Pros:

Location was good and the staff were nice enough at check in.

Cons:

We were really disappointed with the state of the apartment. I wouldn’t necessarily say it felt clean. The bed was skewiff and looked like someone had just tucked the sheets on as quickly as possible, the entire apartment smelt bad when we walked in but the bathroom in particular was terrible. The toiletries in the bathroom looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or topped up in about 3 weeks and the entire apartment looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in the same amount of time. The mattress was terrible - extremely soft and barely any comfort on top. The pillows were even worse, too high and too firm to even sleep on. We were pretty appalled that this is what we got for paying over $300. This is the room we would expect from a $150 apartment. I really wouldn’t recommend someone to stay there.

A good option for exploring the cultural precinct for a couple of days.
Pros:

The check-in was very quick and efficient and I was really grateful for a complimentary upgrade to the two bedroom apartment. The property is very handy to the South Bank cultural precinct and West End.

Cons:

The apartment was not clean, with food debris visible on the kitchen bench top and hairs on the tiled floor. Window glass was also quite dirty.
