Scam - arnaque
Pros:

I made 2 simultaneous online bookings for rooms, because I was travelling with 2 Indian friends.
On arrival, although I showed them both vouchers, they argued they had received only one from Expedia (hotels.com), and didn’t want to provide 2 rooms. Technical problems can happen, but it feels strange to have to convince them that my e-voucher isn’t fake, that surely they will receive the confirmation later (we stayed at least 2 nights), that we wouldn’t run away and didn’t need to re-pay (in cash) as they demanded.
Finally they reluctantly accepted to show us 2 rooms, start registration... and then, they decided that one one the ID proofs wasn’t sufficient (why would an Indian guy need a passport in India??) based on « their rules ». Rules that they refused to show, although I asked for the general terms and conditions of the hotel for confirmation. Escalating to the manager didn’t change anything...
So we had to go somewhere else, in the middle of the night. Although all was prepaid.
Quite a nice « business » indeed: pretend to be a hotel, take the money, refuse the customers...
