Lovely stay at Yara Galle Fort
Pros:

Great location, super spacious clean room. Well equipped; mini fridge, tea/coffee station, safe, etc. Well designed and very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Didn’t provide plant based milk.

Pros:

Se trata de un hotel ubicado dentro de la fortificación de Galle, a pocos pasos de la zona mas turística.
Es un hotel de estilo colonial, muy bonito y cuidado. El personal muy bien en todo momento.
EL servicio de restaurante muy competente.

Cons:

Tiene una catalogación de cinco estrellas, pero mi catalogación es la de un hotel de cuatro estrellas.
Nuestra habitación se encontraba justo encima de la recepción y del restaurante, lo que la hacia bastante ruidosa durante el dia.
El baño, al encontrarse cerca de la cocina, tiene un olor poco agradable para tratarse de un hotel de cinco estrellas.

Perfect location inside the fort
Pros:

What a fantastic hotel and location. Inside the fort with a short stroll to the western wall for spectacular sunsets. The hotel, staff and food was nothing short of superb. Perfect place to recoup at after a 26 day 1,588km tuktuk drive, 30km train ride and 336km of car rides. Not bad when we hole up for 3 days a week so my digital nomad wife can work. With only a 117km train ride, 2 nights in Colombo and a 34km car ride to the airport we say YES we have seen Sri Lanka and loved every km of it. Thank you Yara Galle Fort for a memorable stay.

Very sweet little boutique hotel. Staff were excellent and room was airy and well-appointed (also very strong aircon!). Excellent location, just inside the fort and close to many food and shopping options.

Sri Lanka holiday - solo female traveller
Pros:

Excellent location in the heart of the Dutch wall fortress and right near international cricket ground. There was an amazing atmosphere and feel about the hotel and staff went above and beyond to help. lakmal was very helpful in explaining all food and entertainment for the evening. The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy and the blue and white crockery added to the feel of the hotel. Great value for money with the food being exceptional. The YARA hotel is a great choice for mid range to luxury traveller and this is the second of the group of hotels I have stayed in. Highly recommend.

Excellent Stay in the Galle Fort!
Pros:

We had a one night stay at Yara Galle Fort over the weekend, and everything about our experience was excellent!

The location is very convenient and makes it easy to explore the Fort on foot. Our room was amazing beautifully styled, quiet and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed.

We only had breakfast at the hotel, as we went out in the evening, and it was great. The staff were friendly, attentive and showed us genuine Sri Lankan hospitality throughout our stay.

Thank you so much to the entire team! We highly recommend Yara Galle Fort and look forward to returning soon.
