Cozy location for only those who sleep deeply
Pros:

Great location for your stay. Cozy environment.

Cons:

You can hear across walls.
We could literally follow the cricket match from the room above us. At the second complain, they finally proposed an upgrade to another room. However has to be said that we had requested a different room at check in, since once in we could hear from reception, but there were no options. We could have paid more for an upgrade if the option was presented and could been avoided the 11pm change. Poor judgement.

Fantastic Stay in Galle
Pros:

We had a great stay at Yara Galle Fort. The hotel is perfectly placed to explore the fort and Galle. The staff were fantastic and made our stay all the more pleasurable.

The food was excellent - we loved the breakfast, and the cake in our room for our honeymoon!

Fabulous heritage property with excellent staff
Pros:

The location is excellent and the staff are all charming and helpful. The rooms are stylish and the property itself is a delightful place to stay. The resident manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help my husband and ensure that our stay was perfect. Thank you

The location is superb - only a 7min walk into town/Peddlar St.

Beautiful boutique place to stay in Galle Fort
Pros:

We stayed for just one night as a family of 4 at Yara Galle Fort. Our first impressions were that it is an incredible building which has been converted with the utmost care and consideration.

We stayed in two separate rooms. The rooms were enormous, spacious and really tastefully decorated. We loved the attention to detail, especially the stunning antique necklaces framed above the beds! The bedding was lovely with crisp linens, soft dreamlike pillows and big fluffy towels! The showers were great too as were the complimentary toiletries in the cool bathrooms. The hotel also has really nice communal areas which just add to the boutique feeling.

But the standout for us were the staff, especially Sagara and Nawodya who were always so super friendly and attentive (and helped us with our many bags!). The waiting staff in the restaurant were also really lovely and made us feel so welcome!

We only ate breakfast in the restaurant and opted for the Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious and filling!

Would highly recommend and hope to return!
