Property was decent but staff weren't friendly at all. I only encountered one friendly person at check in but never saw that person again during my stay. Everyone else was very unfriendly to a point they don't even greet you when you walk in the hotel. Same applies in the hotel restaurant.
Very comfortable hotel in an interesting neighborhood.
Hamam temperature is too low to call it hamam .
The sauna is not accessible to regular rooms, also the pool in the garden-access to Switss only.
Room and bedding's are not comfortable
The prices at the pool bar are ridiculously high .
Over all nice hotel for one night if you looking to escape the big city.
Not cost effective vacation.
We will not come back .
Wouldn’t recommend
The premises and the facilities are very nice (and priced accordingly). But this is the end of it.
Management and operating staff (the important majority) behave and act as a third class rated hotel.
We reserved all the 3 suites of the exclusive "Exclusive" area with the secluded pool, sauna and comfort area. But after arrival we found out that it was not exactly exclusive, but quite common, i e. for "only" 6 additional hotel rooms.
Food remnants near the pool were removed after 24 hours, when we complained about the insects. Not to say about the fleas that are part of one of the coaches (apparently not something new).
We had discount vouchers for the hotel restaurant, but the staff was not aware of it and it took half an hour to settle the issue (after we finished the dinner, close to midnight).
But they really peaked in our last day. We were told that we need to leave the rooms by 11am, but we can stay for another couple of hours in the Exclusive zone (not exactly a treat, but we took it for what it was). But then a rude staff lady came to make sure that we left the rooms, and to inform us that we need to leave the zone as well, but we can use for the remaining time the regular hotel facilities (4th floor in the main building, with all the luggage...). 5 minutes later arrived a guy, who did not introduced himself, and in a very abusive, rude, threatening, pertinent and loud language told us to leave immediately.
So we left, and will never consider this place again.
A very mixed experience. The facilities are very good: the room was comfortable, the bathroom and especially the shower were excellent, wifi worked well, the dining room was lovely, and the breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. But… for such an expensive hotel, there were way too many problems and instances of sloppy service. When I first arrived, the gate to the parking lot was locked and the intercom used to ask staff to open it wasn’t working (got profuse apologies). When I got to my room, the safe was open with the bolt very visibly sticking out and making the safe unusable (got no apology). One night, I returned to the hotel around 10 pm, only to find the entrance gate closed and locked, and no one answered the intercom - another couple and I waited on the street for some 10 minutes before someone finally opened the gate (got no apology). And, on my final morning, when I was ready just after 9 am to check out, there was no one at the reception; the person I asked in the dining room told me to call some number; I declined and said I expected the hotel to get someone in the reception (got no apology). What a pity that the staff and their conduct don’t match the quality of the physical facilities!
This hotel is a very nice . It’s super cosy. The Aberto restaurant is excellent from breakfast to dinner . English it’s a bit problem but they compensate with their kindness. Thank you
Dont book there!
They have canceled our spa due to their bad customer policies, and lack of understanding for sick people.
One week before arriving to the hotel i have told the hotel regarding my wife sickness and asked if its fine if we would come for the SPA. And they said it shouldnt interefere with the health condition. And to our suprise when we arrived they said the other thing where its against their policy and canceled our SPA without refund.
This is after we have talked to their mannager!
My daughter was getting married nearby so we booked a stay at the Lear Sense hotel. This was probably our fifth or sixth visit but this time was the best experience yet. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite ,spacious and beautifully decorated bedroom with a en -suite bathroom featuring a double shower, the decor throughout the room as with the rest of the hotel was stunning.
The night before the wedding party of eight enjoyed dinner together at the Alberto Restaurant in the hotel.
The meal was exquisite with excellent service, fabulous food and thoughtful little treats provided on the house.
Our suite was located near a pool reserved exclusively for the suites of which there are ( I think ) about four in total.
The pool area also included a sauna and while we didn’t use the pool we did check the water and it was wonderfully warm.
I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a special treat or relaxing long weekend. You can also spoil yourself in the spa with a massage and a well equipped with gym.
Can’t wait to find an excuse to visit again

Wonderful stay. Would recommend to anyone! 5/5!
Our stay at Lear Sense was absolutely delightful! From the moment we made our reservation, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect even before our arrival. The check-in process was seamless and welcoming, setting the tone for a fantastic experience.
The cleanliness of the hotel, including the lobby, outdoor areas, and most importantly, the rooms, was impressive. We particularly enjoyed the room with the Jacuzzi and sauna, which added an extra level of relaxation to our stay. The welcome cocktail at the hotel bar was a nice touch and highly recommended.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the towels were fresh and clean. It's worth noting that smoking is only permitted in designated areas in the yard, so keep that in mind if you're a smoker.
The hotel amenities, including the small gym and lovely spa on the top floor, added to the overall experience. While we didn't have the chance to visit the rooftop bar with the pool due to the winter weather, we appreciated the thoughtful decoration throughout the hotel.
Each floor offers a mini bar with cold and hot water, coffee, tea, and some snacks, which was a convenient touch. The open buffet breakfast was delicious and fresh, with the option to order one additional meal per person, making it perfect for our needs.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future. We highly recommend Lear Sense for a memorable and comfortable hotel experience.
We stayed for 9 nights in Sept 2023 and appeared to be in a minority as foreign tourists. The restaurant was loud and filled with locals, even at breakfast. This is breakfast Israeli style. You are proffered a menu with a selection 6 or so egg-based cooked options, with little leeway to customise. No fry ups. The rest of the breakfast consists of a small buffet, the majority of which comprises salad plates: beetroot, lettuce, couscous dishes. The only cereal on offer is granola which they insist you have with yoghurt, not milk. Their fruit salad is an acerbic mix of julienned Granny Smith-style apples and halved grapes. I can still taste the acid. The room was large, but as others have said, it is noisy til around 2am. Our room was on the 2nd floor, above the patio, which locals use as an outdoor cafe/bar, sitting around all day clinking glasses and shouting loudly. The bathroom was fitted out with towel hooks that couldn't hold any towels and the shower area had a nonsense glass shelf that listed on a downward trajectory so nothing could be placed on it. As for amenities, there is a daytime bar on the roof, along with a very narrow 'two is a crowd' swimming pool. There is a spacious carpark, but be warned: getting thru the barrier isn't straightforward, you are reliant on buzzing the reception desk - and that desk being manned. If, like us, you are holidaying from Europe, think about staying nearer Tel Aviv or Jerusalem as Gedera is remote with a poor range of restaurants.
We had been staying in Tel Aviv and wanted a spa break for a couple of days without a long drive. Couldn't have chosen better, just 40 mind or so from Tel Aviv. Really friendly, helpful staff, great room (we had the loft room with our own jacuzzi) We ate at the on-site restaurant Alberto, lovely food, reasonably priced and good service. Had a couple of treatments, spa staff helpful and friendly. Hotel has small pool but perfectly adequate. Would definitely return and would have no hesitation in recommending.
Muy buen Servicio . El personal muy amable .
Todo excelente
I had a really unpleasant experience with the massager, she didn’t really do any massage and then she agreed to do only left side (saying I don’t need right). Service was bad.
Needless to say it’s very expensive
Lovely hotel, good food, very pleasant rooftop bar and (tiny) swimming pool. Generous breakfast, although they do need a toaster! Staff all cheerful and helpful. Absolutely no complaints.
This is probably the fourth or fifth time that we’ve stayed here. The hotel is around the corner to my sons home and it’s very convenient. When we first stayed here it was excellent but we’ve seen over time how it has become less and less the place we’d like to stay again.
The decor remains gorgeous. The food in the restaurant is generally delicious but I sent back my salad as it was swimming in a bitter dressing. However, The service is below par and when we went to sit in the cocktail lounge with friends afterwards I had to physically get up and look for a waitress. The music was so loud that it was difficult to talk but I guess that’s what most of the clientele are looking for.
The room is spacious, comfortable and charmingly decorated but they’ve moved from individual bottles of toiletries in the bathroom to large bottles fixed to the wall. I understand that the move was for ecological reasons but for me it felt cheap and was more uncomfortable to use.
The towels in the room were threadbare and falling apart. At home I’d have used them for rags.
However, my main grouch is how impersonal the staff are. It must have come up on their computer that we’ve stayed frequently, a “ welcome back “ or “ nice to see you again “ would have made all the difference. We’re booked in again in another 6 weeks but are now reconsidering.
The hotel is very stylish. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very large and extremely comfortable. Dinner in the restaurant was of high quality as was the breakfast. We would highly recommend this hotel and stay there again.
Pros
Nice intimacy hotel with limited number of rooms
Great exclusive breakfast combined with menu and buffet
Private parking
Cons
Uncomfortable pillows
Noise below the window in the early morning from a track that delivered supply to the hotel or the restaurant
