I have been travelling to this hotel many times and always enjoyed my stay there. Unfortunately for me this will now change. the hotel employed a fantastic chef called Stefano, a master chef whose range of dishes is amazing. He has always gone out of his way to make both myself and my wife welcome, cooking dishes just for us and has become a friend, but he is leaving the hotel. This will for me make me think twice about coming here in future.
From the moment I walked into the hotel I felt very welcomed and made to feel at home. Front desk management were excellent and supportive of my needs and requirements.
Terry in the club lounge was amazing. Not only was she very professional and helped me by providing a phone charger, she was genuinely friendly. This hotel never was my hotel of choice when I was in this area, but will be from now on.
I am looking forward to coming back in a few weeks!!

Lin'An is at the western edge of Hangzhou, and being developed as a high-tech science park. It takes about 60-90 min on the road from central Hangzhou to Lin'An, but you will see subway and rail soon. This hotel is therefore ahead of its time. It is spanking new and you won't find a better deal for a 5* hotel in Hangzhou or other similar cities. I had a regular room, which was as good as I could expect. The breakfast, perhaps as it was not crowded, was much better than most hotels in China I had experienced.Staff is going through training, and hence you see rough edges but very courteous.
Check in Friday January 11. Great hotel but more importantly how the hotel staff was looking after us. Duty manger- front office and a great executive club team and a great F&B service made this hotel a great relaxing experience. Thank u all.
I have recently spent 5 days (December 17th - 21st) in this fantastic Hotel for business. The Hotel staff was very polite, helpful and perfectly know how to pamper customers.
The services offered were good even if I did not have enough time to try all the various amenities (swimming pool, spa, etc.).
The room was clean, spacious and well structured; WI-FI service is present in each room with instantaneous access.
A very special thank to Chef Stefano: a very nice Sicilian chef who could entertain and please me during my stay at Marriott like an old friend cooking for me some of the most popular Italian dishes such as pasta "all'amatriciana" e "alla carbonara" as well. He also prepared his famous "cannolo alla siciliana" using some bamboo in the basic pastry and it was really very delicious!
Breakfast was definitely a pleasure and a must too with his big and "meaty" omelettes.
Thanks a lot again, man, you really made me feel like a king and made my stay better than at my own home!
Newly opened facility, help us avoid hectic Hangzhou traffic and beat the license plate control. Good middle stop point between Shanghai and Huangshan. Also good for a weekend stay to explore Qingliang Peak and Daming Mountain. 新开的设施，不用去闯杭州的外牌限行。正好是开车去黄山和回上海的一半路程。设施和服务都是一流，完全符合万豪全球的标准。周末从上海来这里小住，爬爬附近的清凉峰，大明山，离徽杭古道也只有1个多小时路程。
