Toller Kurzaufenthalt, gerne wieder.
Pros:

Geniales Frühstück. Jeder Biss ein Genuss! Schöne, vielseitige Auswahl, es wurde immer aufgefüllt. Sehr nette Gastgeber.
Zimmer sind sehr luftig und geräumig, sogar das Bad und die Dusche sind gross. Angenehme Betten.

Cons:

Es war alles prima. Sollte es irgendwann mal noch Wellness geben, geh ich gar nicht mehr nach Hause ;)

Pros:

Das Hotel ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer haben eine angenehme Größe, das Bad ebenfalls. Es war alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Restaurant ist gut und hat ein angemessenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und von guter Qualität. Die Terrasse nach hinten raus liegt ruhig und ist schön gestaltet.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer lag zur Straße hin und trotz der überschaubaren Größe es Ortes, war bis spät in die Nacht eine erstaunliche Geräuschkulisse vorhanden (Verkehr, Musik, ...), sodass ein Schlafen mit geöffnetem Fenster nicht sehr erholsam wäre.

Der Service im Restaurant war leider schlecht. Das Lesegerät hat meine Mastercard abgewiesen, obwohl ich zuvor an der Tankstelle und auch an den folgenden Tagen damit überall bezahlen konnte. Das kann passieren bei digitalen Zahlarten und ist an sich kein Beinbruch. Die Reaktion des Kellners war jedoch eine Zumutung. Er hatte das Gerät neu gestartet und dabei bereits gefordert, ich solle doch spät abends noch durch das Dorf zu irgendeinem Geldautomaten laufen, um Bargeld zu beschaffen. Das empfand ich als frech, zumal es wie gesagt nicht an meiner Karte lag. Hier hätte man eine Barzahlung zumindest am nächsten Morgen vor dem Checkout anbieten können oder einfach "old school" die Rechnung aufs Zimmer buchen können. Wahrscheinlich hätte die Kartenzahlung am nächsten Morgen wieder funktioniert. Am Ende hatte ich - zufällig - noch eine Visakarte dabei, welche das Lesegerät dann auf einmal akzeptiert hat. Dennoch hat es den Abend und das Gesamterlebnis maßgeblich getrübt.

Fast so schön wie in den Alpen .-)
Pros:

Wir wurden außergewöhnlich freundlich empfangen und versorgt - angefangen bei der Taxibuchung, Check-in etc. bishin zur Abreise am nächsten Morgen nach dem Frühstück!
Zimmer und Frühstück waren klasse, die Lage angenehm und ruhig - alles in allem sehr gastfreundlich und absolut empfehlenswert.

Worst experience ever
Pros:

The property was like a sauna. I paid for this property because it offered air conditioning. It doesn’t work. Staff were friendly until you mentioned an issue.

Cons:

I should have been having a ground floor room, I was told they were full up so would have to have a second floor room.
Okay these things happen, when I pointed out that the air conditioning was broken ( the control panel ) I was given another room. Unfortunately the air conditioning still didn’t work. Once I mentioned this things got worse. I was told air conditioning doesn’t work very well when temperatures are so high. I was told give it at least one hour. We had it on all through the night and couldn’t get the room temperature below 26 degrees. See picture. Had I been made aware of this I would not have booked the room.
On my departure I said I was very disappointed and should receive a partial refund of my cost.
To my surprise I was told I owed him €15 for parking my motorcycle in the garage.
I refused stating that I had paid a premium for air conditioning that doesn’t work. I was then sworn at and threatened, and when I flatly refused to pay him any more money, he spat at me and my wife.
I never give bad reviews because I know they can be very damaging to a business.
However I feel I should make people aware of the kind of people who are running this business.
They are con men and violent people.
You always find out the true nature of people when you have an issue.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und ist auf all unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber. Es gab eine große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet.

Eine Ü mit Frühstück in gutem Hotel und allem was gebraucht wurde.
Pros:

Für eine Nacht und in Nähe zum Archäologiepark Xanten - alles da, was mesnch sich wünscht. Zugang, Parkplatz (unter dem Hotel), E-Ladestation zu o.k. Preisen, Restaurant und Gaststätte daneben, so dass wir abends nicht mehr suchen mussten. Zimmer-Ausstattung passte alles, modern und vernünftig - Balkon inkl., Sauberkeit ausreichend. Wir hatten eine Ü mit Frühstück. Frühstück sehr gut. Genügend Platz, ob im Zimmer oder in den Räumen.

Cons:

Um klarzustellen: nur die kleinen Dinge die störten am guten Gesamteindruck:
Abfluß der Dusche muffelte (half auch kein Wasser einfüllen), Absaugung Lüfter verstaubt, Problemchen beim Parken+Abrechnen des E-Ladens.
