Séjour absolument merveilleux dans cet hôtel familial ! Tout est parfaitement tenu et on sent immédiatement la gentillesse et l’attention de la famille qui s’en occupe. Ils sont vraiment aux petits soins et rendent le séjour encore plus agréable.
Nous avons également fait une magnifique excursion sur le fleuve, un moment très dépaysant et très bien organisé.
Et que dire de la langouste… absolument délicieuse, parfaitement cuisinée ! Un vrai régal.
Un endroit plein de charme où l’on se sent vraiment bien. Nous recommandons cet hôtel les yeux fermés !

Breakfast was delicious although the spread was limited. But that’s not a concern as the portion sizes were good enough for a meal.
Not enough parking space inside the property.
Room was large and spacious, with a great view over the river however that is where the plus points end.
Worse stay in Sri Lanka!
The bathroom, particularly the shower was filthy, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a long time, as a lot of black mould in the corners. We weren’t comfortable using it.
Towels were worn, covered in stains.
Overall decor of room was dated, and we didnot feel relaxed and comfortable due to the poor level of cleanliness .
Fridge was dirty, and unhygienic, with old dried up muck left on the shelves. It needed a proper deep clean.
Staff were unfriendly, with a cold, nonchalant attitude.
None of the warm Sri Lankan welcome was in evidence, which we had experienced at every other accommodation we had stayed in during our 2 week stay in Sri Lanka.
The pool is in reception and is unusable for swimming as it has a wall in the middle of it.
Due to our schedule, we didn’t have time to check out and find
anything else, for one night.
However, we got up early, and checked out as soon as we could.
We couldn’t wait to get out, and stay somewhere else, this time at a hotel with a positive energy, and at least a few smiling faces!
How this hotel gets such high reviews only knows?!

There are so many great places to stay in Sri Lanka, so it was so disappointmenting that on this occasion, we had such a bad experience.

Весь персонал очень дружелюбный, хозяин отеля отличный парень, говорит по-русски и классно готовит. У нас был номер на верхнем этаже со своей кухней и прекрасным большим балконом с видом на реку. Спасибо за приятные дни)))

Family room is spacious but located on third floor, no lift is there and the staff handles the luggage,
Yet it’s not easy to carry the kids after a long day trip to the 3rd floor. However, it’s repeatable in general
Hôtel de charme avec magnifique vue sur le fleuve. A 2mn en bateau de la belle et grande plage (navette offerte par l’hôtel). Bonne cuisine. Hôtes charmants sympathiques et de bons conseils. Et proche du centre ville sans l’agitation et le bruit de la circulation. Très belle et grande chambre climatisée avec salle d’eau spacieuse. Très bonne literie. Grande Balcon avec vue sur le fleuve

הצוות היה נהדר ממש וסידר לנו טיפול עיסוי בחדר בשעה מאוחרת בערב לבקשתנו. עשו הכל שיהיה לנו נוח וכיף. שירות הזעה לחוף בחינם ובקלות.. מקום מומלץ מאוד.

Onsite restaurant didn’t sell Sri Lankan curry. Apart from that it was literally perfect!
Сподобалося ВСЕ! Дуже приємний власник готелю, його жінка і команда. Нуван дуже смачно готує, може допомогти в будь якій ситуації, чи то ремонт телефона, чи то трансферт в аеропорт, чи то рибололя в океані. Почувалися як вдома, завдяки Нувану.
The host was great and we had opportunity to interact with owner and had enjoyed cooking of Indian cuisine. Free speed boat facility to visit Bentota beach was provided as per our convenience.
Food served was superb.
Nothing adverse.
