A lovely stay spoilt by unnecessary and unwanted parking anxiety.
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a good location. Well appointed, quirky room. Very nice public areas.

Cons:

The free for all limited parking caused unnecessary and unwanted anxiety.
The lack of an EV charging point is unacceptable in these times.

Good accommodation - would be excellent if parking was available to hotel guests
Pros:

Beautiful property in a fantastic location for exploring the Brecon area. We used it as a base for walking up and around Pen-y-Fan walking there from the hotel. Very comfortable beds, excellent decor, good service from staff and excellent food and drink.

Cons:

The car park is not only for hotel guests. We arrived on a Friday early evening and it was packed full of people that were not staying at the hotel but using the bar or restaurant. This meant our group had to find parking elsewhere (not easy) and drag luggage a fair distance across town. Easily solved by allowing hotel residents to book spaces in advance and putting reserved markers on spaces.
