An outstanding hotel and great value for money with a deal from Booking.com
Pros:

The staff were extremely polite and helpful, from the receptionists to the waiters in the dining room.
The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The dining room was very impressive with comfortable chairs and lots of pictures on the walls and a lovely view towards the mountains.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable.

Cons:

Nothing

The mold on the window panels. Needed a clean. The fire alarm is going off at 12.30am. Probably someone going home from the bar

Amazing
Pros:

Royal feeling, everything was amazing. Had radio and TV in the room, great heating system, clean bathroom, whole property was full of arts, lovely garden, delicious beeakfast, loved every bit of the stay.

Cons:

Floors were creaking on walking but I guess that is expected due to old building. Not too bad though.

Stay of 2 halves !
Pros:

Awful check in, sign on desk said go to bar, bar staff barely acknowledged me, then said they’d send someone along, a whole 6 minutes later a scruffy guy turns up, no greeting, just says :- “Name.”, so I give him my name, he them huffs and puffs and says he needs his phone to get into system (surely he knew that before coming over !) then he returns, and asks me what my name is again, so I tell him again, and mention that I’ve literally just given my name to him, to which he makes a sarcastic comment about having a poor memory. Staff in the morning were complete opposite, warm friendly, eye contact, smiles, and in particular the Indian girl on the desk, super smartly presented, warm and friendly with efficiency written all over her. Housekeeping was very good too, everything was spotless. I run a 5 star hotel in London, and the cleaning was 5 star.

Cons:

Staff on Monday night when I arrived
