Overall it was a pleasent and good stay exp
Pros:

The location is very convenient in the new town, acess is very easy from airport, no traffic jams.


The breakfast buffet has wide spread and quality was good, the overall cleanliness and service was good and satisfactory.

Suggestion

1. Shaving razor kept in room,quality is little poor shall be improved.
2. Please keep one sleeper in room for guest use.
3. The tables in restaurant areas are little small to accomodate 4 person for food.

Overall it was a pleasent and good stay experience at economical cost

I have seen there is difference between your Bangalore property and kolkata, in terms of Service, Food and behaviour and even Pricing too ( its too high in kolkata)

had to check out of the property after day one. faced several issues :
(1) the bathroom was leaking - the management offered a 2nd room that had a bad smell.
(2) slow internet (< 5 mbps)
(3) house keeping needed several follow up to provide drinking water
I would not recommend this hotel

Not up to ibis standards
Pros:

I have stayed in multiple locations and ibis is one of my “Go-To”, however ibis Kolkata this stay has been by far disappointing. Clumsy room, smoky elevators, jammed washroom doors, not-so-great window view.
I mean come on - there is a bare minimum for ibis, that too in business hub in Newtown. However, executives at reception were decent enough to listen and take feedback - hope it gets actioned upon.

Good hotel but average service.
Pros:

Rooms were very good with a decent view. Compact and comfy. Checkin and checkout was very smooth. But was very disappointed with restaurant menu selection and service. Had to repeatedly ask for a few items and still didn't receive it. Restaurant didnt receive calls most of the time. Had to request reception to arrange a call back. Overall decent stay.
