Overpriced for a dated room, but in the best location
Pros:

Location, restaurant and atmosphere

Cons:

Tired and overpriced. TV was from 1990 and the place needs an update.
No aircon in a 4* room at this price is really not acceptable.

Great location, comfortable rooms, friendly (and happy) staff, great breakfast.

Cons:

A minor gripe. The controls for the shower (room 209) were outside of the shower cubicle meaning you had to stand outside of the shower holding the shower head whilst trying to find a comfortable water temperaure. Water pressure very low resulting a weak trickle of water in the shower

The memory of having stayed there 50years ago

Cons:

Poor reception staff, rowdy ‘theme-park type addition of ‘The Stables’ … less than clean , average dining room service and no lift to the second floor requiring a climb of 4flights of stairs with only just acceptable bannister rail on the 2nd floor
