Great stay for a fair price
Pros:

Overall not a bad place to stay. Staff are friendly and location is good though can get busy with visitors to the village.

Cons:

Bathroom extraction kept pumping in smell in room 211, especially noticeable after shower was used. I think this needs investigating.

Found pillows a bit too hard.

Floors are wonky and you feel vibration when someone walks or runs down the corridor. I appreciate it is a dated building.

Beautiful stay!
Pros:

The room, location and food in the grill restaurant was beautiful.
All staff were really lovely and so welcoming.
We booked a beautiful room, huge 4 poster bed, bath in the room, robes, slippers.
Tea and coffee making station.
Hairdryer, iron etc.
We had such a beautiful stay and wouldn't hesitate to return!

Cons:

I loved everything, the room, location, food, staff was all perfect.
If I could of had anything extra in the room I would of said decaff tea or coffee (they did serve it in the restaurant so I could of easily asked down there really) but would be nice to have a decaff option in the room. Having a beautiful bath tub in our room....would of been nice to of had some small bath bubbles or something for the bath.
None of these are a complaint, just an added extra touch i feel would of been nice. Would i stay here again? Absolutely, loved it for a nice romantic break away. Highly Recommended

A lovely hotel situated in a perfect location for easy access to local attractions and countryside.
Pros:

The changing of the room after we had pointed out some defects was an excellent solution to our concerns. To be fair the alternative room offered to us was better than the initial room.

Cons:

The initial room had a broken bath plug, broken power point and the safe was locked by previous occupants making usage impossible. Upon telling reception the lady was extremely pleasant and offered us an alternative room immediately. Great service but leaves us wondering whether the defects were actually dealt with.

Great night's stay.
Pros:

Room was spacious and bed very comfortable, good shower and nice and clean. Location was spot on. Staff friendly and helpful. Good parking available too.

Comfy stay in the heart of Betws-y- coed with a delicious menu after longs days out.
Pros:

Beautifully set in the heart of the village. Historical, friendly staff, (loved that they had a triple room too), free parking and absolutely delicious food!

Cons:

Found it very difficult to adjust the water for the shower and the shower head in the bath was not working. I didn’t report this as we made do with the bath and jug.
