Good hotel, good food
Pros:

Large spacious hotel and room. Good location, and parking directly opposite is free for residents (get a permit on check-in), and a very helpful team. Wasn't sure what to expect by way of the food standard, after reading some of the reviews, but it was all delicious.

Cons:

We were there early autumn so maybe the heating was making its mind up but the hotel seemed overly warm at times.
Rooms were spacious but the decor perhaps a little dated for some.
Neither of the wall lights on one side of the bed worked, and the bathroom lighting was a bit gloomy.

Pros:

Staff were very friendly, nothing was to much trouble. Food was excellent. Location ideal.

Cons:

We were in room 211. The bed/mattress in that room is getting a little tired and "wobbles" side to side as you turn over in bed.
