What a lovely weekend!
Pros:

We loved our stay at this hotel. The hotel is quirky and old but the food in the bar (both lunch and dinner) was of a very high standard. There was a great choice from breakfast in the morning. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is paying a huge amount of detail to Covid-19 guidelines. The value for money was great! Also a superb location.

Pros:

The room was spacious with an outstanding view. If you have a choice, pick room number 1 or 6. Irish breakfasts were enjoyable. Bar meals were better than average. There is a wonderful historical feeling of the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Loved the Glenbeigh Hotel. We stayed there for 4 days in Sept. The grounds around it are lovely, the attached pub was cosy, the food good. There was music one night. The breakfast room was lovely..breakfast delicious. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.
We booked the standard room, it was small. If you need a bigger room, you can upgrade. We were on the front side and could hear noise from the road outside during the day, but pretty quiet at night. One suggestion..the room got warm and stuffy at night..a fan would have been most helpful.

Pros:

What marks property out are the location and the beautiful gardens to the rear. Our room was also at the rear with glorious views across to the Dingle peninsula. There are just 12 rooms in the hotel so the reception desk is not manned most of the time. We announced purselves at the bar and were shown to our room at the rear. The building dates back to the 18th century and the internal layout is quite complicated. Getting to the room with a large case was up an awkward staircase. To be brutally honest we were disappointed with the room. The shower room looked very much like a DIY project and the wardrobe arrangements were similar. There wasnt much room for our baggage. Breakfast was served in a very elegant room on the ground floor and was excellent. Meals were served in the bar area at the front of the property and were very good indeed. As well as the a la carte menu there were specials on offer each day. On the Sunday evening there is live music in the bar from 8.00 pm until just after 10.00 pm. The best features of this property are the location, the food and the genial atmosphere in the bar every evening, especially on music night.

Pros:

It’s a great experience, history mixed with great people and wonderful sights. The pub was like drinking with friends you've known for a lifetime. Escape from the electronics and enjoy the gardens and great company!

My friend and I found the staff extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was comfortable, and we had a great meal down in the pub. Even after we drove off, we kept commenting on how friendly everyone had been.
