Zeer vriendelijk personeel! Mooi hotel waarvan we de mogelijkheden zeker zien. Jammer dat het bij ons nog niet volledig

Het personeel probeerde direct te helpen waar nodig en waren zeer vriendelijk.
Het concept van het hotel is zeer fijn en we zien de mogelijkheden zeker!

Cons:

Ze gaven bij aankomst aan dat het hun eerste openingsdag was na werken. Er waren nog volop werken aan de gang wat op zich niet stoorde wat betreft geluid maar je zag het wel. Jammer ook dat het ijsbad nog geen ijsbad was en de yogaklas nog niet van start was. Dit was een beetje de reden dat we dit verblijf gekozen hadden. Ook in de kamer was duidelijk dat de werken nog niet lang gedaan waren, zo hing er nog (vermoedelijk) een zeer sterke verfgeur, dit bemoeilijkte het slapen.

Cannot wait to return to the nuga house during the season!
Pros:

We loved our stay. We booked in the off season and the nuga house was under construction. The lovely team organised accomadation for us in their villa next to the nuga house. They were very accomadating, provided recommendations for things to do in the off season. Even though we missed out on yoga at the nuga house, upon request they provided us yoga mats for us to use. Everything was kept very clean and the rooms are lovely.

Beautiful retreat just out of the hustle and bustle.
Pros:

We loved our stay here! Welcome drink, great location and breakfast included. Yoga at the main building up stairs and a relax by the pool made this spot unforgettable. Staff were so friendly and accomodating.

Pros:

הארוחת בוקר הייתה מעולה , החדרים היו נקיים ומרווחים חדר משפחה גדול ויפה מקלחת גדולה , בריכה יפה ונקיה הילדים נהנו מאוד , עשינו יוגה ב 8:30 היה מעולה , ארוחת צהריים אכלנו במלון ולפעמים גם ערב , היה מושלם תודה

Really enjoyed our 8 night stay at the Nuga House. Staff, food, rooms, pool were all highlights. Would not hesitate to book.

Schöner Aufenthalt am Kabalana Beach
Pros:

Grundsätzlich ist es ein wirklich Schönes Hotel in einer guten Lage am Kabalana Beach. Bis nach Ahangama rein kann man sich ein Tuk Tuk für 5 Minuten nehmen. Das Hotel kann auch Fahrer vermitteln.

Das Restaurant hat einen schönen lockeren Vibe, das Essen ist super lecker und Kaffee spitze. Das Frühstück ist von der Karte und richtig gut.

Die Zimmer sind an sich gut, gepflegt und wir hatten keine Viecher.

Es gibt ein Yoga-Angebot für tägliches Yoga.

Die Hotelmanagerin ist sehr freundlich und bemüht alles zu ermöglichen, so mussten wir einen Tag ein Zimmer verlängern und sie hat es uns ohne Aufpreis ermöglicht, wir sind dann quasi abends ausgecheckt.

Es wird täglich das Zimmer gereinigt.

Cons:

Die Anlage bräuchte meiner Meinung nach eine kleine Renovierung.

Die Zimmer sind zwar wirklich in Ordnung aber nicht so schön neu wie auf den Bildern. Außerdem sind die Zimmer recht klein, sodass man nicht wirklich viel Stauraum für Koffer etc. hat. Wenn man zu zweit und ohne Kinder reist, ist das wahrscheinlich kein Problem, aber mit Kindern wird’s in den Zimmern etwas eng.

Die Handtücher haben leider ein bisschen gerochen, die Toilette war nicht richtig im Boden verankert (hat gewackelt beim drauf setzen) und die Zimmertür lies sich nicht richtig verschließen. Dies habe ich den Mitarbeitern am ersten Tag mitgeteilt, man sagte mir ein Hausmeister würde kommen und es reparieren. Aber das ist leider nicht passiert.

Das Personal spricht leider nicht besonders gut Englisch, sodass richtige Absprachen eigentlich nur mit der Managerin getroffen werden können (dann klappt es). Wenn sie aber nicht da ist, dann wird’s schwieriger.

The location is great, situated in a really nice area of Ahangama and just a short walk to the beach. The physical property itself is lovely. My room was very comfortable and clean. The common areas were also well-maintained, and I really appreciated the beautiful touch of the staff bringing in fresh flowers to the shared spaces every day.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the management and hidden fees completely ruined the vibe of my stay. First, despite my Booking.com reservation stating I could pay via credit card at the hotel, the property shared my credit card details with a third-party company that charged an unexpected 4% fee on top of my agreed rate. I was told I could pay at the property to be reimbursed, but when I asked the manager to cancel the third-party charge so I could pay with my card at the desk, she was incredibly dismissive. She refused to take my credit card and told me to go to an ATM to get cash instead. The whole payment process felt deceptive and like a scam.

Secondly, the property advertises itself as a "yoga hotel" with daily classes. However, they fail to mention on their profile that these classes cost extra. While they clearly state that things like surfboard rentals are an additional charge, the yoga fees are completely hidden until you arrive. Combined with staff who were generally unwelcoming, these deceptive practices overshadowed what is otherwise a beautiful building. I would not return.

Struttura incredibilmente accogliente, camere ampie e pulite dotate di tutti i comfort. Colazione squisita con diverse opzioni. Possibilità di effettuare lezioni di yoga quotidiane....Posizioni buona e vicina a spiaggia e ristoranti. Atmosfera magica e rilassante.... tappa fondamentale del vostro viaggio in Sri Lanka.
