​Our 4-night stay at the hotel was generally very pleasant, and we would like to highlight the following positives:
​The Room: Was excellent, comfortable, and clean.
​Breakfast: Was excellent and rich.
​Additionally, we dined at the hotel restaurant almost every evening and enjoyed the food very much. Aside from that, the rest of the hotel staff treated us very well throughout our stay.
​

Cons:

Unfortunately, our great experience was severely ruined on our final day. Since our flight was late in the day, we asked to extend our room check-out time. Even though we checked Booking.com and clearly saw that rooms were available at the hotel, we were denied.
​We left our luggage in storage and went out to tour the city. When we returned to the hotel an hour before our taxi pickup, we were told we could not wait in the lobby/reception area under the pretext that other guests were about to arrive. In reality, this was a complete lie—not a single guest arrived at the hotel during that time. The receptionist not only displayed disrespectful behavior and told us to leave, but he didn't even bother to apologize for his attitude.
​We kindly request that this matter be forwarded to hotel management for review and action, as guests who stay for 4 nights and use hotel services expect fair treatment until the very last moment, rather than lies and being chased away from the lobby.

Athena Suites had it all.
Pros:

We had a lovely apartment with a separate kitchen, a large patio with a small table and chairs, a great shower and very nicely furnished with modern decor. The staff was always helpful and pleasant, and the complimentary breakfast included a nice variety of scrambled eggs, sunny side eggs, various hot and cold meats, cheeses, breads, many side dishes, juices, a coffee machine for a variety of coffees, croissants, small desserts, etc. It was around a 25+ walk to the Old Town area, but there were places to eat nearby, or you could dine in Artemis, their restaurant where we found the food to be quite good.

Great location - warm welcome
Pros:

Very comfortable and spacious apartment. The check in staff were very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and full of options. There are also many good restaurants in walking distance which was great for evenings .

Cons:

Our apartment had a balcony but it was over the road out front and there were workmen digging up the road at night so it wasn’t very conducive to a peaceful night’s sleep but that couldn’t be helped by the hotel
