Delek Tulum

Delek was an amazing experience!! The rooms were so clean and cozy. The staff was amazing! So helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us . Lunch on the beach was delicious and amazing drinks. The location of the hotel is in the center of all the great restaurants Highly recommend Delek hotel . It’s the real Tulum jungle feel!! Thank you Steph for your hospitality you and the staff were amazing! Will be back 🙌🏻

Alejandra was my server at the beach two days in a row! She was amazing! Delek was our club of choice because of the free entry with day bed, good service esp with others being so expensive! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing club!

First of all, the hotel is absolutely amazing! The rooms are beautiful, the staff is so nice and helpful. When we arrived we were greeted with wlcome drinks, and every mornig you get coffee and cookies outside your door. The watch tower is beautiful and you can get a nice look at the sunset or enjoy the small pool.
Unfortunately, other than that we had an overall unpleasant stay. There's very loud music until at least 12:30 am from the nearby restaurant, and music from bit more distant clubs until 4 am. It was very hard to sleep. Even during the day, the nearby beachclub blasts music although there were almost nobody there. This loud music really ruined the serenity of the place. Secondly, when we arrived we discovered that the pool was under renovations. That's critical information that we should have got in advance, because the beach at the time is impossible to get in due to the algea. The beach is not the hotels fault, but the pool being closed might even have made us not book the hotel. They did gave an alternative, but that's not why we came there. Sadly, overall we would not come back. Although the place is beautiful, the loud nonstop music and the fact that half of the year you can't get into the sea was too much for us.

A very very special hotel! It’s like being a giant kid, everything you want as an adult, with the imagination of a kid, we stayed in a giant air conditioned tree house with the most amazing bathroom. Delicious pizza restaurant downstairs and everything you need within walking distance. The night we arrived they had a full moon party with a great house set and performance. If you want quiet don't stay here, the hotel is in the middle of the party district, but if you want a great experience and like to party, this is an awesome and very special place.

Hands down, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
The staff at Delek made everything so easy and enjoyable—they helped us plan excursions, set up dinner reservations, arranged Vespa rentals, and even coordinated our hotel pick-up. As guests, they also reserved us the best beach cabana at no extra cost, which was such a nice touch.

We were celebrating a birthday, and they went all out—welcome drinks, tequila shots, handwritten notes, decorations, a free room upgrade, and even brought out a birthday cheesecake to our beach cabana. It was such a thoughtful surprise and made the day feel extra special.

We also had the most relaxing spa experience—massages right on the sand with the sound of the ocean in the background. Total bliss. And on top of it all, we got tattoos from their in-house artist—he was super professional, and we loved how they turned out.

The hotel’s location is ideal—walking distance to two Michelin-starred restaurants, amazing local spots, hookah lounges, and both day and nightlife.

If you’re going to Tulum and want a stay that’s beautiful, laid-back, and full of thoughtful touches—Delek is it.

Had an amazing week at Delek, the hotel, staff and overall experience was just what we needed. Right on the beach with a much needed pool to lounge in when the sun got too much. Beach front hotels in Tulum are not cheap and Delek is no exception but you get what you pay for. 5 star location and service. Rooms are tastefully designed and serviced an maintained to a great standard. Great beds and linens. Rooms to the rear suffer from street noise from the surrounding clubs (which they warn you about) but those beach facing ones have no such issues. Many of the other hotels have beachclubs aimed at the party all day crowd whereas Delek is more chilled Ibiza vibe. Usually some entertainment in the late afternoon; live music sets; or a dj; but again all geared to keep the vibe relaxed. Restaurant providing high end takes on Mexican classics; seafood, tacos, cerviches, and more mainstream standards. Good cocktails and chilled beers... they also take their eco responsibilities seriously unlike others who seem to pay lip service to them. While we were there we wandered into one of two other similar hotels for breakfast; drinks etc for a nosey; but left convinced that Delek overall provided the best balance of style, comfort, service and relaxation that we wanted.

We enjoyed the beautiful rooms and location of Delek. It's at the center of everything and close to the buzzworthy restaurants. It is loud at night because of this, but it didn't bother us. The beachfront is a dream.

Great beach club that is not too packed. Lots of waiters available to assist and help with anything. Plenty of seating. Very clean beach and free access. Food was restaurant was amazing; fresh guacamole and truffle oil fries which were some of the best I had in Tulum.

This is for anyone going to Tulum, Mexico and looking for a resort to stay at- do NOT go to Delek Tulum! As you all know, we travel ALL the time- never had an issue. We stayed here in Janurary 2025. VERY long story short, when checking out, they "lost" my carry on suitcase when we were at breakfast. Said it got put in another customer's van, going to a different airport. They couldn't get it back to me before we had to fly out.
They shipped it back to me- received it 3 weeks later, with 2 designer purses stolen from my bag!! Then they sent us a video (after I got my bag back) of what was in the bag when they supposedly got it back from the wrong van (as we asked them to). The purses were gone in the video, so I know that it was someone there that took them and not after it was shipped. We have gone round and round with them to replace the value of them- they are now ignoring me, after I sent them the invoices.
I don't know if it was the staff at the resort or one of the van drivers that take you to the airport, but point being, our valuables were in their care and they did not keep our belongings safe, as they said they would.
It's CRAZY that they are treating a customer like this. They are basically saying, without saying the words, that I am lying, as their staff and van drivers are trustworthy. CLEARLY not all of them are. Someone stole the purses PERIOD. Oh, and also stole a battery pack.
A lot of you travel to Mexico all the time, so beware of this resort! Spread the word. Share the post! I would hate for this to happen to any of you!

Excellent location

This hotel exceeded every expectation. The service was outstanding, and the beachfront villa was absolutely breathtaking. The location couldn’t be better, with top restaurants and great shopping just outside your doors. Nothing is more than a short walk away.

The villa was gorgeous, with a hammock, and two daybeds on your patio area. Also a daybed reserved for you at the beach.The room also had a chaise lounger right at the double doors leading straight to the beach. Amazing for laying inside and listening to the waves. The bathtub was incredible, making it the perfect place to unwind.

Another highlight of our stay was the oceanfront couple massage at our villa, which was nothing short of amazing.

Delek is a great place to enjoy the beach food drinks. We’ve been coming here every day and we only pay for whatever we consume and they give us a bed now or March so it’s not extremely busy. Eduardo helped us with the delicious food from the restaurant, I highly recommend coming to this spot to enjoy the day the music overall is excellent.Highly recommended.

The best service ever!!! Every single member of the staff here is so accommodating. Teron and the rest of the team members at the beach club made it a trip to remember. This place is an absolute dream not only is everyone so friendly, but it is the little details that show you guys really do follow your mission statement.

Our stay at Delek last week was truly wonderful! It's the kind of place that doesn't need the ostentatious grandeur of other resorts to be refined and graceful. Specially the rooms! They achieve so much just through the architecture and a few very intentionally placed pieces of furniture and ornaments. The vibe of Delek is a perfect incarnation of Tulum's ethos.

The beach is located in an unbeatable spot, and for those who enjoy taking walks or jogs at sunrise, know that you'll have access to miles of white sand on both directions. Something else I loved about it is that Delek lives up to its values, making it one of the few places that opens its doors to all beachgoers, something very rare (and sad) these days.

As much as the hotel and beach are worth it on its own, it's the staff that truly take the experience to the next level. Everyone was friendly and attentive, but it's Abigail at front desk who takes the standing ovation. She made our stay something to remember forever. Gracias Abi!

Wonderful experience! Definitely coming back

Really disappointed in Delek. The reviews and photos sold us on staying here for my birthday trip. I regret it. The grounds smell like sewage as soon as you walk in. Our suite was poorly maintained. The bathrooms don’t have AC, the doors to the patio don’t close, the full suite was hot even at night in January. They gave us one towel for two people the entire 3 night stay. Understand they are going for an eco hotel vibe but the sinks barely worked, the faucets were so rusty you could feel it in your skin. Not a good experience. We utilized the beach beds one day and the food and beverage was very disappointing. Worst pina colada in Tulum. They are trying to rip off Azulik and not doing it well. Save your money and splurge at Sana further south.

Julia was our hero every day at the beach club. The maitre'd looked after us and went out of her way to do so. Thank you, really appreciated it all.

The floor team were also fabulous, very quick and attentive staff.

Maybe get some speakers on the beach, small ones to spread sound of great band playing.

El area es muy coveniente para llegar a cualquier de los lugares del centro , lo unico es que como esta en el mismo centro si hay un poco de buya en la noche pero ya a la 1 se termina y el hotel te ofrece tapones para los oidos , lo bueno es que el hotel te informa a acerca de eso antes y te ofrecen cancelar si no te gusta este tipo de Ambiente , nosotros la pasamos genial , mi habitacion estuvo super chevere y muy limpia , y las antenciones del personal excelente , y bien atento ellos todos , gracias chicos
