Candlewood Suites Dallas-Frisco NW Toyota Ctr by IHG

Hotel was conveniently located in Frisco near the Toyota Stadium, restaurants, shopping and the weekend farmer’s market. Hotel itself was clean, comfortable and adequately supplied with kitchen items. Comfy bed, fluffy towels. Outdoors, the patio area offered a bbq grill we took advantage of and a pool we did not. Conditions of the outdoor space could have been improved by fixing broken items and general clean up. Overall, was very pleased and would recommend to others.

Mickey and Tyler were great. The younger lady with glasses was cool too, but it was this one lady, I wish I got her name but she made me feel unwelcome. I’m sorry I dont have her name but she has a beautifully placed birth mark on her face. She said the staff should not have given me the rate I was give , which was not my fault and l cried all night. I don’t like drama and confrontation, I just felt like she could have kept that comment to herself. I don’t even ask for a discounted rate. I wish people had more emotional intelligence when dealing with the customers. I’m a nice, civil person but the next person may not be. She needs coaching for sure. I will not be frequenting this hotel again.

I was checked out of the hotel by an employee prior of my departure time. I asked for a card key replacement and was checked out. No one offered to make it right by the mistake. No discount of any kind. they only offered a "I'm sorry for the mishap". I've stay here several years before around the same time and expected a better response!!

3 day stay and no cleaning. Not a fan of that

The best part about this location was definitely the staff. They were friendly, responsive, and tried to help where they could. Unfortunately, the room itself was a big letdown. The moment we walked in, there was a strong mold and mildew smell, especially coming from the AC vents. When we put our nose close to the vent, it had a sour, rancid stench that was impossible to ignore.

What made it more frustrating is that our family members had a separate room and their AC had no odor at all, so this was clearly an issue with our specific room. We mentioned it to the front desk right away, and to their credit, they came up and sprayed a fresh scent inside the AC filter. While it helped mask the smell for a short time, it was more of a temporary cover-up than a fix.

This isn’t on the front desk staff, they did what they could. The real issue is with whoever handles the cleaning and maintenance. There’s simply no way they could clean that room and not notice such a strong, unpleasant odor.

Luckily, we only needed the room for sleeping since we were out running errands all day. Still, it’s disappointing to pay for a space that wasn’t properly maintained. With better attention to cleanliness and maintenance, this place could match the quality of its staff.

On booking it said feww bereakfast, but there was no breakfast, I had to pay for each item and buy it. I checked out the very next day.

Nice rooms very well laid out. Negative is dirty bathroom. Hair on floor and towels.

Nice place however shares pool with hotel next door and your food delivery usually get messed up and sent there instead. However the hotel was clean offers free laundry workout room close to lots of things
