Pros:

Loved everything but our shower was very old
I have thick hair so Spennithorne of time getting shampoo out as not very powerful
BUT I can't gUlt staff for trying.g to rectify us Nd moving us if we needed . Its very old property and the room was superb so i managed 😀

Home on the high street...
Pros:

Staying in an historic building with bags of character, big comfortable rooms, lovely staff and great breakfasts...so the floorboards creak, the place is 300 years old man!
A lot of thought has gone into making the Orchard Club an 'experience', I would recommend it as a place to stay.

Pleasant accommodation close to the centre of the lovely town of Knaresborough
Pros:

The property was very attractive. The bedroom had a comfortable bed, two armchairs and a table, a mini bar and well stocked coffee & tea facilities.

The breakfast was wonderful

Cons:

Our bedroom faced on to a busy street, so there was some noise, although earplugs were provided

Pros:

Location was perfect. Breakfasts were excellent. Loved the lounge. Shower was superb. Spacious bedroom. Friendly efficient staff. Fridge in room. Although we didn’t need all the snacks and drinks that were available in the room, they were not overpriced.

Cons:

We were in Room 5. The bed was a superking which is always a bonus but the mattress although acceptable would benefit from an upgrade.

Cons:

The building is shut from 12am to 4pm with no ability to check in, leave luggage or use the toilets if you have travelled. No staff on site at all, no night cover either in case of an emergency! No explanation of exactly what the emergency procedures are! It is a very old building with a clearly heightened fire risk.
For this reason, we probably wouldn't stop on the top floor again.
