The hotel was very conveniently located and had a great river view. The rooms are large and there was a good selection of channels for the English speaking clientele. The only complaint I have is that the bed was so hard that I had to ask for an extra duvet to sleep on and it was still really hard even with that padding.

Our stay was fantastic! The front desk team, along with the rest of the staff, were exceptionally warm, attentive, and well-informed. The hotel’s location couldn’t have been better—ideal for exploring the main attractions on foot.
Breakfast good but a wider variety of fruits and nuts would be good.

We have been staying here for two nights and we were surprised that we also have 3 visits to the Spa. The cleaning staff were the best.

We traveled all around Europe in this hotel was our favorite. Right on the river, amazing. 10 out of 10.
We arrived late, but were pleasantly surprised by our accommodations. The rooms with river-facing balconies are absolutely worth it. The spa and pool were a lovely bonus—wish we had more time to enjoy them. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Lyon.
One night unexpected stay — outstanding place with great service
The property and staff are nice and the location is good. The restaurant is terrible. I got food poisoning from my meal there simply atrocious.

The front desk was fantastic. They arranged transport to the train in Lyon. We were on our way to the Boscolo property in Nice and pick up transportation there was also arranged. Wonderful dinner recommendations as we wanted authentic Lyonnaise food. Highly recommend.

Great location and top property
Wonderful spacious room with central AC, shower was wide and generous with outstanding water pressure and the bathroom has a toilet that flushes like a jet.
Breakfast was amazing, including the usual French offerings with an Italian flair.
Very pleased with the staff as well, helpful and attentive.

Location,staff ,food !!!!!! Service was amazing . Staff super helpful. Can't have a better area to be in. Room was great with wonder amenities and housekeeping services. Would go back in a heart beat and just a general over all comment... what a great city
Disappointing experience at a so-called 5-star hotel
While the hotel may look the part of a luxury establishment, my experience was far from five-star.
I accidentally left my cardigan in the room after check-out and contacted the hotel multiple times. Eventually, they said they had found it and asked me to pay 20 euros to send it to my next hotel in Cannes. What I received instead was a male hoodie and a badge belonging to another guest. My cardigan was never found or returned — so be careful with your belongings.
There were also several small but frustrating issues that should never happen in a 5-star hotel:
• When refilling the in-room coffee pods, instead of replacing the used regular ones, they just added extra decaf — ignoring what was actually used.
• Towel hangers were located outside the shower, forcing you to walk across the bathroom soaking wet to grab a towel.
• Staff were unresponsive, poorly coordinated, and showed little accountability — especially after their own mistakes.
These may seem like small details, but they reflect a larger problem: a lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and true hospitality. I’m giving this hotel 3 stars at best. It simply doesn’t meet the standards it claims to uphold
