Breakfast (included in price) very good (with options). Location for one travelling on public transport and walking sections of coast path was magnificent. Bus stop literally on doorstep. Station five minutes walk away (with suitcase). I had little contact with staff but they were all very friendly.
I found the price to be rather on the expensive side. In fact, I thought long and hard before deciding to book it anyway! Limited options for evening food in Goodwick.
Excellent beer great Guinness pour also try the Welsh beer with the green logo. Staff very friendly. lower floor bar is great. for the cost It is what’s available so comparatively had good value to others. I recommend this because the staff is so friendly. We hiked in from the south another advantages that this is very close to the train station if you are leaving from the fishguard. Make note this town Goodwyck is the part of Fish guard is closest to the train station.

we needed an iron, they did not have one, the walls were thin, we could hear people toiletting in the room next to us, we could hear every movement of people in the hallways, smell of smoke/drink from the pub below.
Breakfast was ok. Location ok.
Overpriced compared to other similar grade hotels we stayed at. (You can’t charge high prices just because you’re near the ferry) Room was noisy because it overlooked the road and noisy guests sitting below the window. No fan was offered because of high temperature as previous 2 hotels did. Room needs a refurb!

Perfect location for my requirements. Helpful & friendly staff. Single room with everything I needed for 2 nights. Excellent breakfast, catering for vegetarian dietary requirements.
Convenient parking across the road in a public car park (free between 7pm and 9am).
Accommodated my late arrival with no problem.
Due to the nature/ age of the building, there was no lift so getting to the top floor with a suitcase, suit carrier & bags was a bit of a struggle!
There is no chance for a decent dining around.
the hotel was very close to both the railway station and the ferry terminal. Checking in was easy and the staff were welcoming. My room was clean and had a good view from the windows. I needed to extend my stay for one more day, and had no trouble doing so. The breakfast was excellent.
All in all, my stay was very enjoyable, so much so that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
