There isn't one thing I liked about this place.
Firstly, there is no car park across the premises, despite the claim that there is. I came on my motorbike so I struggled at first. The whole place is very basic and smells of alcohol due to it being a pub. The bed was very uncomfortable, shower didn't work properly and breakfast was very poor. All this for £130 a night! If you're looking for a hotel when you come off the ferry late at night to travel a little further for a more comfortable and better deal. And Bikers, definitely don't bother.

Very convenient location for ferries coming in from Rosslare.
No parking for hotel but there was onstreet parking directly opposite

Not the owners fault but someone very close was using chain saws until passed 1am. Also someone in the room next door had their radio on through the night until 7.00am. If it wasn’t for these 2 problems we would have had a good stay
We werden vriendelijk verwelkomd en de juffrouw die het ontbijt verzorgde was ook erg aardig. Het Engels ontbijt was prima. De koffie ook, maar koffie- apparaat verdiende een schoonmaakbeurt. Op het bed lagen schone handdoeken met een badeendje, wat we erg leuk vonden.
Eerst moest je via een smalle trap 2 etages naar boven gaan. Het was kamer 4 op de zolder. Als er brand uit zou breken kon je geen kant uit. Ik vond het niet schoon, het stonk er, er hing een
Muffe geur overal. Matrassen waren te hard. Verder heeft de hele nacht de wc doorgelopen, div keren getracht de knop te verdraaien, dan was het weer even stil en dan begon het weer. Als je naar de wc ging en het licht aan deed, maakte de ventilator een klere herrie.
De hor van de kleine slaapkamer raam kon niet geheel dicht, waardoor het alweer vroeg licht was. De andere grote raam die tot op de vloer liep, kon je open maken en van daaruit zou je zo op straat belanden, zeer gevaarlijk.
De vloerbedekking was vuil, en toen ik me bukte om wat op te rapen, had ik andere dingen in mijn hand. Een goede zuigbeurt is geen overbodige luxe. Aan het plafond hingen aansluitingen van rails voor spotjes, wat niet beschermd was. Mogelijk zat er nog stroom op….
Ik vond het onveilig op deze kamer en geen fijn verblijf en erg duur. Voor € 160,- voor 1 nacht met 2 personen mag je toch iets beters verwachten.
Ik hou van nostalgie, maar een goede opknapbeurt is een must maar mijn idee.

Breakfast (included in price) very good (with options). Location for one travelling on public transport and walking sections of coast path was magnificent. Bus stop literally on doorstep. Station five minutes walk away (with suitcase). I had little contact with staff but they were all very friendly.
I found the price to be rather on the expensive side. In fact, I thought long and hard before deciding to book it anyway! Limited options for evening food in Goodwick.
Excellent beer great Guinness pour also try the Welsh beer with the green logo. Staff very friendly. lower floor bar is great. for the cost It is what’s available so comparatively had good value to others. I recommend this because the staff is so friendly. We hiked in from the south another advantages that this is very close to the train station if you are leaving from the fishguard. Make note this town Goodwyck is the part of Fish guard is closest to the train station.

we needed an iron, they did not have one, the walls were thin, we could hear people toiletting in the room next to us, we could hear every movement of people in the hallways, smell of smoke/drink from the pub below.

Breakfast was ok. Location ok.
Overpriced compared to other similar grade hotels we stayed at. (You can’t charge high prices just because you’re near the ferry) Room was noisy because it overlooked the road and noisy guests sitting below the window. No fan was offered because of high temperature as previous 2 hotels did. Room needs a refurb!
