Rocio nous a très bien accueilli. Très grande chambre, propre et au calme. Nous avons partagé, avec d'autres pèlerins Irlandais le dîner maison préparé par notre hôtesse (à réserver au préalable) : cuisine espagnole très appréciée. Merci Rocio.

Cons:

Ras mis à part le fait qu'un espace extérieur était disponible mais que nous n'en avions pas été informés.

Pros:

Beautifully decorated rooms in Ventosa. Rocio cooked a lovely meal for us. Very quiet village. Cimfy beds so easy to sleep. Two small bars serving food. Very relaxing stay along the camino.😏

Clean but unfriendly
Pros:

It was convenient to the Camino and was clean.

Cons:

I had a bizarre experience with the woman in charge of the property. I made a mistake and entered the wrong room and began taking a shower and making myself comfortable. She POUNDED on the door and informed me of my mistake. I apologized profusely for my error, asking how I could rectify it. I offered to change rooms. She huffed that she would NOT clean the room again. She said I had ruined the other guests’ experience by occupying their room and ranted about how I had screwed. I explained politely that I was tired after walking and apologized again, to which she retorted, “I’m tired, too!” Many people have kind things to say about this property, so I can only assume she was having an off day, but it made me feel uncomfortable about making an honest error. I sincerely hope this woman gets some rest and is treated with hospitality as she does so.

Pros:

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Ruhiges Ambiente und sehr schöner Geruch im Zimmer. Hochwertige Ausstattung. Das Abendmenü war hervorragend. Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin sehr gut bewirtet.

Elegant home, elegant host.
Pros:

This place and the host are very elegant. Clean, comfortable spacious rooms with chandeliers, antiques and art. Laundry service available. Make sure to sign up for dinner, she is a superb cook. Best meal yet in Spain.

A real find en route to Santander ferry. Classic features in a Cada Rural.
Pros:

A really lovely old Casa Rural.A large bedroom, with modern unsuite shower room.
It was very enjoyable to eat together with other guests who were on the Camino .
The food and wine were good.

Cons:

Sadly no breakfast was available, but the cafe was only a few minutes away.

Lovely room, take cash if you wish to eat at the hotel rather than the three restaurants in town.

We were told we had to pay cash for dinner so made other arrangements, then were told they’d accept card and were annoyed when we explained we’d booked elsewhere - made for an uncomfortable experience.
