La Jolla Hotel

Este hotel ya no existe.

Teníamos tres noches pagas en dicho hotel y al llegar a Santa Teresa después de una hora dimos con el lugar a través de estudiar las fotos de cómo era por fuera. En su fachada ya no tenía su nombre. Era casi de noche y en la entrada de un hotel lindero nos comentan que ese hotel ya no existía y que teníamos que reclamar a Hoteles.com.
Después de dos horas intentando comunicarme telefónicamente con Hoteles.com logré que me atendieran, allí verificaron que efectivamente nadie respondía los llamados al hotel y el mismo estaba cerrado.

Por muestra parte habíamos comenzado a coordinar un lugar para alojarnos. El personal con el que hablé de Hoteles.com se puso en contacto con el hotel que estábamos viendo de hospedarnos y pagó el hospedaje.

Por lo que supimos no éramos los primeros en esa situación con dicho hotel.

Han reducido el personal. De los empleados del hotel solo vimos a las mucamas cuando llegaron a limpiar y como nos íbamos al día siguiente, más bien les indicamos que no era indispensable.
El parqueo es en la acera (baqueta) frente al hotel. Es muy estrecho y el vehículo queda, literalmente, en parte sobre la calle.

Väldigt bra litet hotell rent fräscht och ägaren Roy var fantastiskt hjälpsam. Wi-fi kunde dock vara bättre men på det stora hela kanon fint hotell.

The property was fairly central. The room was spacious. It rained so much that the roof started falling in at the entry way, the hotel staff were very attentive and offered to switch us rooms right away. I did feel the pictures while booking didn't give a good representation of the rooms. It would be nice if they updated the photos so you know what your getting with each.

Lite för mycket myror på rummet, har varit med om det förr och är okej med lite men detta var alldeles för många. Nära till stranden och många bra ställen att äta på. Duschen var sådär.

I had a very bad experience in La Jolla Apartments. Although the room and facilities are nice, the security in this hotel is not acceptable. There was a man trying to break into my room from my supposedly private patio at 3am when I was sleeping. The property is next to an empty lot and the ground floor apartments only had nets to separate it from the lot, so he seemed to have gone under the net to go to my patio. Thinking it was a thief, i told him to go away but he only became more aggressive, and tried to harder to break the doors open. There is no network signal in the room, no manager or security guard at the hotel at night, and no way to contact the manager so i had to hide in the bathroom until sunlight in case he manages to break the sliding doors. Thankfully he couldn’t, but he managed to stay in the patio for hours trying to go inside. I could only ask for help when the sun came up from other people staying in the hotel, and there is no hotel staff until 8am. I moved to another hotel right away in the other side of town but I reported it to the manager, wrote an official complaint, and asked if we can go to the police. The manager tried to help but it’s been over 10 days since, until now there is absolutely no response from management or the owner on the issue.

Brand new, clean apartment right on the beach. Only complaint was the dusty road in front of the apartment

En general, la zona donde se encuentra es excelente, se encuentran restaurantes y supermercados muy cerca. La cocineta bien equipada, les recomendaría tener un coffee maker para los que nos gusta el café.
Lo único que nos parece debe mejorar del todo, es la señal del WiFi, ya que necesitamos comunicarnos y tener acceso a Internet, y practicamente la señal nula, teníamos que salir afuera del sitio para lograr incluso acceder a la señal del Internet del teléfono.

Great and helpful host with a beautiful and clean place and an awesome pool

The best choice I could have made! The rooms very clean, beautiful, spacious, private; great shower, good wifi. Very well located downtown, close to the beach. The apartment downstairs has a kitchen, confirm availability with the owner before arrival, and it also has direct access to the pool. The ones upstairs have fridge. The pool is great with good sun all day long and sun chairs to rest. Roy and Luis are so attentive, so pura vida!; they recommended us excellent places to visit and eat such as "Tiquicia" just some meters away from the apartment, great recommendation. They went out of their way to make our stay amazing, the best one. Thank you so much!! Keep up the great work!! I absolutely recommend it.
