The best feature of the hotel is the terrace at the back. Fantastic view of lake Taal and volcano island. I doubt there are many places with better views! Being next to Museo Orlina is a bonus. Also a shout out to a nice, local food serving, restaurant, Kaye Ryan Grill, just 2 min walk up the hill. As the hotel serves breakfast only. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty btw, and you can have it on the afore-mentioned terrance enjoying the wonderful view.
If you plan to go ask them if there is construction work and/or if they have bookings for large parties. I was very grateful they took me in at short notice - when Casa Noah up the road cancelled on me with less than 24h notice. And in the shortness of time it is may be understandable i wasnt warned of either. On the saturday there was quite a bit of noise from the extension they are building. No construction on sunday luckily. But when i was looking forward to a quiet time on the terrace, i was turned back. It was booked by a private party. One that played music at a volume high enough to entertain half the town for 8 hours straight. Which makes a complete mockery of the ' keep noise to a minimum' signs they put up in every room.
The guests of the private party wandering around the hotel ( presumably looking for a place away from their own noise quiet enough to talk) , brought out the worst feature of the hotel strongly. It lacks a sense of privacy. The rooms have large windows facing public walkways, with thin curtains and thinner window glass, which let you see silhouettes and overhear conversations, and make you wonder if they can see you. Absolute worst, in my room even the shower had a window like that. Not the bathroom, the actual shower.
Comfortable room with two large beds. A beautiful deck with seating right outside the room. Perfect for the excellent breakfast looking out over Lake Taal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The bathroom was a little bit spartan, but adequate. A table lamp would have been good as an alternative to the very bright ceiling lights. Minor quibbles.

La grandeur de la chambre
La propreté
Les rideaux ne sont pas assez occultants
Friendly staff and the balcony. Million dollar view.
Just the walk to the hotel.
This was a stunning location with stunning views. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking Taal. Rooms were lovely boutique style. Love our stay here.
Nothing !
Location is very good with great views. The bed is big with a good mattress. Helpfull staff.
There is no common room. It would have been practical if there were bedside lights. Now there was only one extremely bright light which makes it a challenge if one person tries to sleep and the other wants to read.
The view
Fresh paint fumes in the unit early killed me and dogs barking assessantly all night and construction directly next door and people outside of my room partying at midnight. Other than that. It was perfect.
Respectful staff.
A bit older designs inside the room.
I like the room it was super clean, the breakfast was really delicious with fruits serve, plus the view of the taal was really amazing. It was a great stay all in all and will surely book again.
a Little noise can be heard outside and the curtain use does not provide enough privacy. We would appreciate it if it was a total block out curtain so it can't be seen by the outside
I loved the view of the Taal lake from our balcony. The staff were very nice and attended to our needs. The rooms also came slippers which was so convenient because we forgot to bring our own.
Nothing really, except the steep hill our van needed to navigate through.
Las vistas desde su terraza y el desayuno variado, abundante y sabroso.
El horario del desayuno es demasiado tarde para mi gusto.
View of Taal
Having TukTuk available only way to get around
Definitely not Disabled friendly as I enquired
Shower very high to step in if disabled Pressure in shower so slow
Accommodation VERY outdated
Breakfast is alot but don't have bacon Dripping with fat
TV remote controls all in Chinese thought was staying in China not Philippines
Det er kun udsigten til Taal Lake.
Værelset er meget lille og trang. Meget snæver at bevæge sig i.
Great view of Taal Lake and located away from the busy area of Tagaytay. Hannah was very helpful and accommodating to our needs during our stay.
It was in a peaceful location just off the main road. The staff are very friendly, the room was clean and the view of Taal Lake is beautiful!
