Pros:

Great location, staff very helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and clean.

Great small hotel in a perfect location for exporing Bath.
Pros:

It is a lovely small hotel, in a great location. It is a historical building, so the building is interesting.
The staff were all very helpful.

Cons:

The location is what attracted me, however, the building is very interesting. Our main bedroom and bathroom has fireplaces. The floors slope and the stairs are definitely original. The bed was very comfortable, lovely bedding, nice toiletries and extras in the room

Bathtub in the room.
Location which is close to everything and I love to see the big tree right outside our room.
The room is lovely and clean.

Cons:

The location is very central, which is convenient, but it does mean there can be some noise. On the morning we were leaving, unfortunately, a large truck was parked right outside our room, so we had to keep all the blinds closed.

Despite this, it’s a good option if you want to be in the middle of everything, just be aware that street noise can sometimes be an issue.

Really good location and would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

Great location, beautiful large room, well equipped, very comfortable and beautifully clean. Price was good value for money and I would certainly stay there again.

Cons:

No lift (my suitcase was quite heavy to haul up the stairs) and the room above me was quite noisy.

Due to the amount of noise, we wouldn’t come back to stay at this hotel.
Pros:

The hotel itself is lovely and clean and our room was beautiful. The location is ideal if you don’t want to walk very far, as it is very central.

Cons:

With the hotel being central, there comes A LOT of outdoor noise! The windows are very thin, so unfortunately you can hear every person that walks past your room. The building in the courtyard is in an area where lots of drunken youths hang around, and spend their time shouting and screaming until the early hours of the morning. With the building being old, you can also hear fellow guests above you and next door. The couple next door to us were making a ridiculous amount of noise, which made us feel very awkward and uncomfortable! Due to this, our stay was not relaxing, we had a sleepless night and made the disappointing decision to check out one day early. It’s such a shame because the hotel is so lovely, it’s sadly just ruined by an overbearing amount of noise!

A lovely hotel in a fantastic location.
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent central location, close to Bath Abbey. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and everything has been finished to a high standard. The hotel has an honesty bar in the basement which provides a lovely, relaxing space to enjoy a drink after a busy day exploring Bath. The staff were friendly, helpful and we will definitely return next time we visit Bath.
