Nice comfortable stay overall. I would stay again. Excellent location.
Pros:

Very English decor. Nice bathroom and fluffy towels. Comfortable bed with nice linens and good pillows. Wonderful breakfast. Staff was helpful in giving information about places to visit. Good gluten free offerings.

Cons:

Very steep stairs and no elevator so make sure you are up for a hike if you’re on a higher floor. The weather was extremely warm and the portable air conditioner helped but not great. Small window with view of a brick building.

Wonderful stay at Eight, perfect location within the city.
Pros:

Incredible stay, would recommend. Large rooms with a historic feel, clean and practical bathroom. Location was great and we were able to walk everywhere and return to what felt like a more secluded quieter part of the city in the evening even though you are right in the middle of everything, next to the abbey and the baths.

Stay in the center of Bath in luxury without all the cost.
Pros:

Beautiful old historic building in city center Bath. We were one square away from all the action and the baths. Our room was an upgrade provided by the hotel that was huge. The windows overlooked the square that was busy until 11pm when the world went quiet. Until 4am when the birds decided it was time to get up. Very aggressive songs.

Cons:

Again with the old building, there is no lift.

Great location, not much sleep due to the room noise.
Pros:

Great location and nicely decorated

Cons:

We were in a basement room which had no sound proofing - we could hear all the movement on the stairs and in the rooms above us, it was unfortunate for such a nice room.
