It was in a locations suitable for our purposes
We booked a family room with double bed and single for my gf ather with dementia but he didn't come which was a blessing as half if the double bed was terrible. You layed on the bed and could feel the springs. Was sunken about 4" in the middle of the mattress. My husband had to sleep on the single bed as part of the double was so bad. I told the receptionist who apologised and said she would let someone know.
Nice location. Clean and comfortable.

The only grumble was that the bar wasn’t open when we checked in at 2.30pm.
Reception did offer to get us a drink but we were so looking forward to sitting in the beer garden on such a lovely day.

The actually property is nice, it certainly feels dated in places. But the room was fairly nice and clean.
We stayed in room 001. Which due to a “Ibiza” weekend was beyond loud, and this went on until 10pm. As well as this, the door for this room opens up across from the disabled toilets which were co stanly being used by people attending the event. There was no mention of this when booking or checking in sadly.
We had a spacious room that was quiet despite a wedding taking place at the hotel. The bed was comfortable & there were tea & coffee making facilities. Plenty of parking available. Breakfast was good.
The heating was on in the bathroom despite a heatwave- keeping the bathroom door closed helped to keep the room cool overnight, but at least the towels were warm & dry! We had ordered a taxi but telephone reception was poor in the room so difficult to communicate when the taxi arrived early.

I understand there’s functions on but we wasn’t part of them so music was very loud to the point it was vibrating our room and the shower only worked with cold water

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I had a request to use a fridge for my insulin and they were very accommodating
If I had to say something it was the space in the bath/shower.As being 6ft 4 the ceiling was touching my head and made it difficult to have a shower
